Loved the location - right on the beach easy 3-5 minute walk into town. Staff was extremely friendly. Beach house was comfy and roomy and decorated as a beach house not uptight hotel. Office recommended horse back riding that was cheap n fun - they rented movies also for free which was nice.

The smugglers has 3 rooms all of which are named after local artists they all have separate entrances and are very clean and comfortable the owners of the restaurant were really friendly and helpful food in the restaurant was excellent we would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking. Fantastic location, really friendly staff. Room was lovely and the decoration was modern, crisp and clean. The breakfast was amazing. There was a huge firework display while we stayed and we sat out the front with big mugs of coffee and had the most fantastic view. Checking out the manager said we could leave our car for as long as we liked and enjoyed our last day. A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location

We pre-booked an evening meal. Our hostess Helen is an ex-chef and the meal was sensational as was breakfast the next morning. the room was a good size as was bathroom with all facilities. Our host Phil is a bit different but loves to engage in a philosophical chat. Helen is warm and friendly. the surrounds are very quiet and we would certainly go back there, and would expect our hosts to be very welcoming again.. The service was superb and nothing was too much trouble.
For example -asked for warm milk for coffee on first morning and this choice was remembered each succeeding morning. Local walks were helpfully printed for us. Both my wife and myself remarked that there was no cooking smell at mealtimes. The room was spotlessly maintained each day and used tea and coffee sachets replaced with same. We ate twice in the restaurant, the first time being for our 50th wedding anniversary and enjoyed beautiful

Barbara's breakfasts were brill, and such a lot to choose from. the four poster bed was' very' comfortable, and the garden was well looked after a real pleasure to look out onto, to sit in and enjoy.

3 bedroom flat adjacent to pub meant plenty of room for our family, plus it was quiet since it wasn't directly above the pub. Beds were large and comfortable, plenty of pillows. Breakfast was included and it was fab. We had dinner at the pub as well and it was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. We decided we wanted to stay an extra night and they worked out a spot for us!
