The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities and an ensuite showerroom. This was small, but perfectly adequate. William the owner, was very helpful and loaned me an iron and board due to my wedding outfit being creased on the journey. The location is perfect for both the town, railway station and beach

Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.We received a warm, friendly welcome. Miller House is close to train station, shops and a short walk to beach. I liked the free WiFi which worked well, and dvds which were provided.
I left v early and did not have breakfast, but i will return and try it next time.

The guest house has a great location being in a quiet residential area but still close to the seafront ( 5 minute walk) and city centre.
I was with a group of friends rather than family and the large rooms allowed us to relax .A welcome change from cramped hotels.
The breakfast was fantastic. I cannot recommend this high enough if you are visiting Ayr.

We have stayed in many places around and about and The Gatehouse has
been one of those rated at the top of our list. Our room was light airy
and relaxfu. It had everything you need and a very comfortable bed.
Then view of The Isle Arran from our room was wonderful. The couple
running the gatehouse are so very friendly they helped us plan our days
out and when your strangers to the area a thumbs up of where to go is
appreciated. The choice at breakfast time is well thought out we loved
the break

Staff excellent. Karen found my expensive glasses, contacted me and arranged to have them sent out. Superb! Breakfast excellent. Room very comfortable and clean. Excellent location for Prestwick airport or golf nearby. Ample secure parking. Really REALLY pleased!

I travel alot for work and stay in numerous hotels. This hotel has been the best by far. Friendly staff who will go out of their way for you. Good food at reasonable prices the evening meal and breakfast were lovely. The rooms clean and comfortable. I will stay here again next time I am in Ayr. -
