The rooms were clean and spacious, lovely big bed, lots of tea, coffee available in the room including bottled water. Staff were excellent friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Very welcoming hosts. The breakfast was very good we didn't use the restaurant for evening meals however the Paragon restaurant did appear busy in the evening! -

The hotel is comfortable and well equipped & the food in the dining room, selected from a cavery menu (all 3 courses) was plentiful & well cooked. We only stayed one night as we were touring around but would happily stay there again

Like most hotels in Douglas it is now an old building, but everywhere inside the hotel was nice and clean and the staff where very helpfull. I was in a single room, but not too small and the shower was fine. The buffett breakfast, eat all you like, was good all three days I stayed, cerial, juice, bacon, sausage, eggs etc

great location just off the sea front, excellent shared sitting room - like home, friendly and very helpful proprietress, small but very comfy room with tiny ensuite shower room, sensibly and practically updated, fresh tasteful bedding, really comfy bed, light bedroom (sea-view rm on 2nd floor) adequate breakfast, especially for the price, and lovely female staff with her young son (5ish) helping out! Friendly, helpful staff and excellent value for money. The Hotel was very comfortable, within easy walking distance from the ferry port and shops. - The staff were some of the friendliest I have met in my many years of travelling and were always willing to go that extra mile.

Margaret was very welcoming and friendly. We were upgraded to a large room with a massive bed, a large bathroom with luxury bath and shower. There was a walk in wardrobe and a TV which came out of a cupboard and could be turned to face the bed or the sofa. Everything was provided including free bottled water in the fridge, a vast array of coffee for the coffee maker, home baked cakes in the huge communal sitting room and even toothbrushes and toothpaste.

As i was travelling alone worried about staying on my own in a place that doesn't have 24hr reception desk or staff within the hotel however that was not a issue to my suprise. I felt very safe, staff were excellent, friendly couldn't do enough for you. Hotel room was lovely and comfortable breakfast was great too -
