De tudo um pouco ( Sossego, limpeza, conforto )
This is a top class hotel - excellent staff who take great pride in attending to minor details to make your stay comfortable - great breakfast! very comfortable and relaxingh stay in a great London location
The plastic pots of marmalade, honey etc and the paper napkins at breakfast were noticeable economies and slightly belied the otherwise up-market atmosphere.
Excellent location. Excellent food.
large rooms
The staff were extremely professional and helpful. The room was large and met our requirements. The view from the balcony over Hyde Park was excellent. The hotel was ideally placed for Lancaster Gate tube station.
Was a mix up with the rooms, but paid for our taxi to a sister hotel in westminster, where we were given an apartment and a bottle of Champagne, so can't complain.
I paid extra for an executive room and got a large bedroom and bathroom and the room itself was so quiet - it was amazing. Beds too were very comfortable
Food a bit pricey. Decor in the room was looking a little tired - carpet was stained and the curtains were frayed. On a personal note, do not like the old world furnishing - would prefer something a little bit more modern and crisp
location
rooms a bit too hot
the views out on our balcony, the staff was polite
would of liked the breakfast included in the price ,breakfast was a little pricie
its location
the building needed a renovation and the air conditionning of our room did not work.
Huge room, huge bed, great location.
Room needs refurbishing (furniture well worn, plaster and marble chipped) and basic repairs (bidet ran all night, toilet wouldn't fully flush).
we had a view of hyde park from our rooms and the hotel was in a nice quiet area
The rooms were not warm and although I specifically requested twin rooms we were given doubles. The bar closed at 11.00pm and although we were residents we were refused drinks after that time. I wouldn't stay there again.
I didnt stay there, they screwed up the booking system so I ended upstaying at their sister hotel which wasnt as nice.
Good location. Nice aspect, opposite Hyde Park, quiet area. Quiet hotel perhaps because it wasn't full. Staff were accommodating, no rudeness.
First room I was offered was atrocious, it was damp and dirty. After complaining I was offered a better room but all the rooms were far too hot, they provided fans in each room so there must have been previous complaints about the temperature.
