On the scheduled dates of our stay the hotel suffered a leak. We were put into an apartment in another location the staff were most helpful and arranged the travel arrangements. Having never stayed there i would still recommend it due to the extremely helpful nature of the staff. everything about it. been 2 other hotels in liverpool did not get the same welcome. will be back. That we had kitchen facilities, and the room was alot bigger than expected. was a lovely room. todos opiniões »
Our bedroom (double ensuite) was very large with a big bed and a lovely piano. Either the furniture or the facilities (tea machine, iron, hair dryer) were very well kept. The bedroom is close to the reception so that we can hear from guests checking-in/out, but for us it was not so relevant once we spent the whole day off-site.That we got an upgrade!. Me and my partner both agreed that the price was excellent based upon the amount of space and comfort in our room. Everything that we needed was included. We were also pleased to learn that a kitchen was included in the room. The premier inn costs more to stay and offers less facilities and did not offer a kitchen/dina. We were very pleased and we would stay again.Nice place, good staff, clean room and very good location. I wil come back if I need to stay in liverpool. Very impressive large room, friendly staff. hotel staff. The rooms. Roscoe House is a wonderful place to stay, clean and good size rooms. staff friendly and helpful ideal location, close to centre and great for walking, lots of good restaurants close by.. . Room was excellent, staff very helpful. large bathroom, dvd player. The hotel is excellent value for money, and is situated by concert square and the all the main shopping centre!!. Nice room. Location.Nice old furniture nice old building. It was convenient for the things we wanted to do.The staff were friendly. Central location. i liked nothing the hotel was very shabby the worst ive stayed in yet and wud never stay there again was terrible. Not much - a lot of potential but this should not be open at this stage.Nice name. Over priced. Within 5 mins walk of city center. It was central and clean. Nothing, it's not a 4 star its no more than a 2star. Leaving. as we was downstairs next to reception, we could hear only afew people coming in and out in the morning. The piano was not tunned. That it was a bit difficult to find...They dint provide soap in the bath and the second day they dont clean the room, but it wasnot a problem for us. SIngle glazed windows made for a noisy night. the rooms too hot, and communication between staff wasnt very good. i checked in early put my things in my room. came back to room later in day my stuff had gone. one of the hotel staff had moved my things. There was hair in the bath when I arrived. The tiny TV provided in my room wasn't really up to the standard of the rest of the room.Downside no parking facilities, it does have metred parking opposite but finding a place is difficult due to offices along the road. Hotel is being renovated so some minor disturbance during the day. As there was no sound proofing, it was extremely noisy through out the whole night due to disturbances outside in street, very poor situation of hotel. Not notified that you had to pre-book breakfast.no milk, just one bathtowel. The hot water went off on the day of depature while friend was in shower. She ended up having to keep part boliling te kettle to wash shampoo out of hair.No soap or toiletries in bathroom. No milk and not enough tea and coffee provided. Noisey until moved rooms. Not a 4 star hotel, no room service no food or drinks available hot and cold taps mixed up radiators switched off until I turned them on no milk available for tea and coffee. The facilities were extremely poor and it appeared that things had been done a shoestring. The towel holder came off every time it was used, the curtains came off in my hand, there was no bath and no soap provided. The layout of the room was basic and quite depressing.I was surprised the hotel had a 4 star rating as the facalities were basic. Windows don't close properly so lots of street noise - No wardrobe in room - Inadequate lighting in bathroom so difficult to shave - No shelving around sink so nowhere to put bath kit - Poor in-bath shower, plenty of space in room to install proper shower - Volume did not work on the tiny TV - Overall, a poor experience. It was my first and will be my last time staying there. They tried to fob us of with an apartment 10 minutes from the main hotel this was not acceptable and when we asked for our money back they managed to find us a room in the main hotel. Rooms half finished, very few, if any of facilities as listed on website(no tv, dvd, stereo system). Lack of hot water and heating for two ofthe 4 nights. Need to improve and get it up to a suitable standard andthen this would be great place to stay. Give it a month though. The Presidential Suite I booked was on the ground floor about 3 metres from reception, you could hear every word said by reception/guests. The alternative room to which I swapped had no wardrobe no lampshades and a window that wouldn't close. There is no bar, no restaurant, no morning paper to your room, it certainly does not have the boutique hotel "feel" as mentioned in the blurb. The room I was given looked nothing like the photos on the website. My room @£149 a night was a large old fashioned bedsit, floral carpet an array of old miss matched furniture years past it's prime, tv smaller than my laptop with no remote and a kitchen and bathroom although clean fitted out sometime in the 70's, very basic. Value - £40@night would be puching it.I did not enjoy the hotel. It is a cheep and nasty spruce up of a dentist surgery - they haven't yet removed the dentist brass work and there is no signage. The accommodation is functional and the furnishings from auction house I guess. No soap, hot and cold taps reversed, bedroom door sticks so hard I thought I would have to use my mobile to get out, no curtains in bathroom, grotty aspect.... Poor value, noisy and inadequate standard of room. First two times i used the shower water would go from scolding hot to freezing in a matter of seconds. On second morning there was no hot water for a shower. When i went down to inform the girl at reception she rolled her eyes and moaned "i know, people have been on to me about it all morning". We were then given extra kettles to boil ourselves a bath!! We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. There was no lift and we were on the third floor adn this was not made clear on the website when booking. There was no smoking in the rooms and this was not made clear when booking otherwise we would not have stayed. Overall I was not happy with the accommodation. you claim this hotel is a 4star. how could it be when there was no lift! no dining area! very poor, it's cleary a 2star hotel. Everything. unfriendly, room was in bad condition, renovation.
