  I highly recommend Caravel Guest House. It’s located in the centre of the New Town close to the railway station and the shopping area. The rooms are cozy and the toilets are very clean. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.

  We came with no greater expectations because of the cheap price, but we were pleasantly surpriced! Our room was big and comfy, the atmosphere of the hotel was good, and there were a great shared living room and kitchen. Feeling like I was living with a family! honestly I didn't expect the room is big enough for ten people to live in, since we only had three people. Marvellous! I was very kindly given a plateful of food as I had mentioned that I have a long train journey ahead of me.
