  James & Nelly the propietors, are the most welcoming and warm people that I have encountered in a long time. Nelly is bubbly and full of energy, James -, a little more laid back but very affable. They compliment each other well. Nelly's chilli con carne is to die for and James's selection of malts exquisite. Very helpful and generous with local advice. Reasonable B&B rates included excellent Scottish breakfast, great value. Evening meals simple, tasty and wholesome taken in the bar lounge with an open fire. Sky Sports channel meant we saw the Masters golf - a bonus! Really enjoyed our stay over two nights. Would definitely come back.

  The friendly, unobtrusive hospitality of the staff in this family run hotel. It was like staying with friends. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean, well decorated and amply furnished. The food served was also of a high standard. Staff and owners were very friendly. Food was great and good value. Our room was gorgeous and very good value for money, we would definitely stay here again.
