Location was fab, apartment as described. Great size, lovely Italian restaurant couple of doors down. Would stay there again.

We stayed at 90 Grassmarket, which is ideally located for doing touristy things. The apartment was nicely decorated with modern fittings, and was well equipped, especially the kitchen. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The office where you go to drop off the keys does not have a sign on the door, and is actually below pavement level. We mistakenly interrupted the office above before finding the correct door - please put up a sign! Sometimes the pub next door woke us up when they took out their glass bottles and other rubbish to the bins. However, we did not hear any noise from them the rest of the time so this is only a minor issue.

Location! Location! Location! We had a birds eye view of the St Andrews Day celebrations. What a great way to spend an anniversary....already enquired about a revisit next year for our 40th!!

No toiletries in bathroom but plenty of cleaning products. Could do with bucket in bathroom and bedroom. Very dim light in bedroom so put make up on in sitting room.

Right in the middle of Edinburgh opposite the castle, near Princes Street and Lothian Road with many cafes and restaurants nearby (we particularly liked the Kurdish restaurant at the top of the Royal Mile. Helpful staff member who let us in to the apartment after a quick phone call just before we arrived.

The location is fabulous, the Apartment is amazing - everything you could need & want is there. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in Central Edinburgh.

Derek was very nice and welcoming. Great and clean apartment in a quiet neighbourhood conveniently placed on the Royal Mile in the centre of Edinburgh. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station.

The small bedroom didn't really take away from the general excellent impression of this cozy apartment.

The location is superb couldn't ask for a more central location. Café Nero downstairs is great in the morning! and there are tons of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The apartment has everything you need, is comfortable and is spotlessly clean. If we're ever staying in Edinburgh again this apartment will be my number choice of accommodation.

There is a waste pipe inside the wall of the bedroom which means every time upstairs flushes their loo its really loud next to your head. There is no window in the bedroom which is a bit strange. It is also rather loud with outside noise in the lane beneath and people on the stairs passing by.

We liked to the location, right in the centre of the old town and handy to the main attractions and to get the feel of the historic side of the city.

We didn't realise the walk from the train station to the accommodation was 'uphill' and late at night and in the dark lugging suitcases was hard work when locals sent us the long way around.

Fantastic location 10 min walk from waverley station and to Edinburgh Castle. Apartment was lovely would definitley stay there again!

Loved the use of an old building, and being so close to the feel of history. The staff member, Derrick, was so helpful, welcoming, and accommodating.

The flooring had very soft, weak spots in the hallway.

Location firstly, i wasnt expecting two full fledge bathrooms (stayed at apt 11)but to my surprise there was an ensuite n another bathroom , very pleased with tht.kitchen facilities wer superb! Spacious! Thr was cutlery, cooking utensils , tea,sugar, dishwashing tablets n washing powder tooo!!! Comfortable stay overall. I will definitly reccomend tht to anybody /evrybody.Derek was very friendly and helpful, we managed to get parking near by too:)

The lighting in the second room shud b a bit bright n windows shud b double glazed ! Though its just very hard to find any negatives in the apartment! Its very nice.

We stayed at 2 bedroomed apartment at 7 Johnson terrace! Location, location, location - castle, royal mile & grassmarket on you door step! In easy reach of local bars & restaurants plus sightseeing bus stop 2 minute walk away! The apartment itself was lovely! Relaxing living room & comfy beds! Very thoughtful bottle of wine left for us! Derek was lovely and also allowed us to leave our luggage at the office round the corner til we got our train home! Would definitely recommend for couples (2 rooms), families & friends!

An extra toilet roll would have been handy (or a pack left in a cupboard somewhere).

Perfect Location for Fringe Festival

The location was very convenient to the Royal Mile and the castle. Lots of room with comfortable beds and a great kitchen.

The location was actually too close to the Castle which had fireworks, big crowds and marching bands almost every night around 11:00.

Very friendly staff - nothing too much trouble.Bottle of wine on arrival a lovely touch. Spotlessly clean apartment in great location.

We stayed in apartment 11 on the third floor. The view was incredible of St. Giles Cathedral. The location superb two blocks from the castle. Many restaurants and shops on the royal mile. Many tourists but inside the apartment calm and relaxing. A bit of noise at night as shops and restaurants were cleaning up and ghost tours ending but by 11pm all went quiet until about 7am. We enjoyed our stay as it was close to everything including Waverly train station.

No hot water in showers no matter time of day or how long the shower ran. Also no coffee pot so we had to purchase coffee each morning for two people next door at Neros for 5 pounds. That was an expense I could have lived without.These two items could be easily fixed with a few dollars spent by the apartment managers for a new water heater and coffee pot. All in all we would stay again in the future. Thank you.

We liked EVERYTHING about this place! You cannot get better location than Greyfriars Apartments. Apartment itself was big, clean, with all conveniences arranged, staff was very friendly and helpful. Great price and value for the money!

It would be great if WiFi was included but we lived without it peacefully for a few days we stayed.

Beautiful apartment - former parliament offices, so pretty damn posh. Big wide staircase, and the parents and I had no trouble bringing the bags up.

A bit pricey, but expected to be so for the location and niceness of the apartment. There was some noise below the bedroom windows, probably due to local pubs.

Excellent spacious accomodation right in the centre of Edinburgh. Everything you could need for a few days or two week stay.

Only downside was lack of parking - nearby but expensive and single toilet in the apartment felt enclosed.

I liked the location and the general feel of the appartment. It was roomy and spacious. The location was excellent.

I didn't like the noise of the pub downstairs putting their bins out. It was just before 07:30 most mornings, but on the last morning they were put out just before 03:30! I thought this was against the law! The people upstairs were also very noisy, banging doors until after midnight.
