O que as pessoas dizem
The staff we're very friendly making us feel at home. The staff helped me get my luggage both in and out of the bldg.
The English breakfast was served promptly each morning. The food was delicious and served to order. I plan on staying at the Hamptons each time I visit Brighton to visit my daughter who is attending University in Brighton.
This family run hotel made us feel so welcome before we even arrived. Had to leave some bags at the hotel before we checked in and they were so accomodating. The hotel was clean and so close to the pier. Great location, great value for money and lovely owners. Definately recommend it for those looking to stay in a small hotel in Brighton.todos opiniões »
I had an issue with booking .com as I booked a single en suite and was called to say that all they could offer was a double with shared bathroom, it was a last minute booking so I accepted even though booking .com blamed it on my card transaction. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was 5 star. would recommend it to anyone.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and although the room was a bit tatty around the edges it was clean and tidy. We also had a great view of the sea from the window.
Great decor, clean and friendly, I liked the ship theme and original stained glass windows in the building. Great place to stay - seconds away from the beach front !.
Nice room, all new staff. The breakfast is really good and the
Customer Service was excellent. 5 minutes walking from the Brightons
beach. 100% recommend.
Value for money. Fantastic location near the pier. Lovely room with sea views and very friendly staff who went out of their way to help.
Everything was great from start to finish. Staff were so helpfull and very polite. Clean and well kept. Room was great. Perfect stay.
the hotel is close to the centre and very nice, rooms are not small and there's everything you need.
Breakfast included very good!.
The staff is quite friendly, the breakfast is nice and is included in room fees.
The room is clean.
The value is good.
I love it all. Lovely hotel close to the peir and night life but not to the point where your sleep is disturbed.
Wonderful sea view, bed comfy, location was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
Nice bathrooms - clean and fresh.
Much open space in the room :)
Lovely view (beach/sea).
Great value for money! Great cooked english breakfast! Yum! Staff very
friendly :).
Great room, comfortable matress, good point :TV and wifi. nice breakfast.
Excellent service and clean tidy room. fitted our needs perfectly,.
excellent location, nice sea view, refridgerator in the room!.
Lovely friendly staff, plenty of breakfast & it was yummy.
The location, hotel style, breakfast and price was good.
The location was great for seeing
Brighton & Hove.
Lovely staff really friendly. Nice clean bathroom.
Close,comfortable, good value for money.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
breakfast good
clean comfortable.
Nice breakfast, good room.
Room was nice enough but tiny. No heating on when I arrived (in room)
but warmed up quickly. Very comfy bed & bedding. The nautical theme
was quite pleasant and consistent throughout.
The beds were comfortable, breakfast good the first day, good value for money and good location.
Reception very friendly and gave me a cup for my tea in room but see kettle lead opposite.
Good Location.
Landlady was very helpful.
Breakfast was okay.
The way the hotel was decorated. Everything co-or donating.
Convenient for teh shore and Brighton Pavilion areas.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Friendly staff and location.
Location and the price.
Location was good.
It was cheap and close to most of everything. Hot water was hot & endless.
Location was excellent.
Breakfast nice but very basic.
Free wi-fi.
The shower was new and the bed was clean and comfortable.
the staff and location.
Location.
Price and closeness to the beachfront and pier.
The location of the hotel.
Absolutley nothing.
the location.
It is a family run business and at breakfast time it was very busy and I needed a receipt for business reasons and asked for it to be e mailed to me as everyone was too busy to check me out, but sadly after 2 weeks I have not received it.
Just the toilet made sound sometimes but nothing really wrong!.
Maybe a little too much expensive in general, but overall we stayed very well.
I would reccomend!.
The room is a little too compact. The is no hot water in the morning so we can not even have a shower.
Having to climb 4 flights of stairs, no help with cases. Shaving light didn't work. Cooked breakfast not so good.
Parking is difficult. Also, we were not advised in advance that a Gay
Pride festival was happening, and the street was closed off til 10pm.
Access to hotel was therefore delayed.
Bathroom out of the room, there wasn't hot water the morning.
The shared bathroom was rather tired and the shower was very weak, really need a pump.
Breakfast not until 9am,at the weekend.
Rooms were small but so much better than other cheap B&Bs I've stayed at in Brighton.
WiFi was frustrating as it was a bit hit and miss and was constantly
being overwhelmed by other networks.
The room was small, but value for money. Had to climb to third floor which was hard.
Expensive parking which is not the fault of the Hotel, its the local council.
Bed didn't get made but not a huge problem. Paper was peeling in
rrom and paint from windows. No double glazing and seagulls are
bloody noisy at 4 am!Lots of stairs to climb. Wifi didn't reach
up to my room.
Breakfast service was slow and my breakfast was cold the second day. The shower pressure was really bad, esp. second morning when it was just a trickle which made it impossible to wash my hair.
My single room though en-suite had wallpaper peeling and evidence of mould. kettle lead not long enough to enable it to stand on table.
Plumbing was noisy.
Bed had a big dip in it.
Outside noise (windows weren't secondary glazed).
The shower was malfunctioning which was a bit disappointing.
Only breakfast after 8 AM, too late for business stays.
Only very limited road side parking - and usually no spaces- and payment meter use.
Bed was uncomfortable and shower was useless.
No ac, and it's quite difficult to fall asleep if you open the window - it's seagulls' screaming out there all night.
Basically it's just a bed, shower/toilet and a tv, no other amenities (toothbrush, slippers etc.) but can't complain with that price.
Very small room.
Breakfast was okay. No parking so had to pay for that and it wasn't cheap. It was being repaired on outside so there was scaffolding which blocked our view that we paid extra for. The bed was not very comfortable and the carpet was in need of replacing. Most of the attractions and all of the rides on the pier were closed.
Breakfast: awful (rubbery rasher, sawdust sausage, one tablespoon of baked beans, greasy egg, tinned mushrooms). Bed was falling apart - springs sproinging inside whilst I slept.
That there was no parking which is not mentioned on the website.
Staff friendly but disinterested and not at all service minded.
No hooks/rails in the entire room or bathroom.
Doors not secure at all.
warped floor in room (no.14).
The skirting and handrail on the stairs were broken. Breakfast was a farce, 6 tables being served one at a time, even coffee wasn't available until your table was next to order. When the juice and milk were finished the jugs were whipped away and didn't reappear. We left and had an excellent breakfast in the Wetherspoons at the marina. Well worth missing the hotel breakfast and our approx. 1-11/2 hour wait to be served.
age of the rooms and decor.
Cold bacon in full English breakfast,, very dusty headboard. Could not get wifi on 3rd floor. Smelly drain when emptying washbasin.
A little rundown but clean.
The staff
They don't care
Rude
When they talk look like sleepy face.
I really dont know where to start, from the checking into the hotel
until now 3 days after we left the whole experience was traumitising,
this is not a hotel, it not a running business, it it purely a
location taking money from people who arrive there with no other
option but to stay.
very dirty and run down, very poor value for money.
Room was too small for a family. In pictures it showed double room however there were two beds in a single small room.
Guy at reception almost shouted at my daughter when she was just going here and there, he said just sit and I had to say him she is not going anywhere, how rude was he, with a 5 years old kid.
