  Beautiful setting in fabulous location. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. All the staff had smiles on their faces at all times. We particularly liked being able to eat and drink outside, both in the garden and to the front so we could watch the world and the Forrest ponies walk by.   Firstly, and most importantly, the silence at Buckler's Hard. We had a last minute, cheapo, 2 night stay at the Master Builder's House. On our arrival, we were unexpectedly offered an upgrade, at no extra cost, to one of the best rooms in the house. Room 20, Agamemnon, is spectacular, with windows to the north, riverside, and to the east, the 'str... o que as pessoas dizem » eet' and the dawn in October. We would really like to return to this hotel but fear that we could only afford a room in the back annex (rooms 1 to 17) - The location is superb overlooking the river Beaulieu with gardens down to the edge of the river and plenty of seating outside and tables for eating at outside too. The bed was very comfortable and the shower extremely powerful - a very restful room which was cool in the extreme heat wave . The staff were all friendly and helpful without exception. Quality of the food was very high - all tasted very fresh. The discounted tickets for Beaulieu very good .

  We had a wonderful stay there. A nice pub in the middle of the New Forest. Lovely renovated room separate from the pub so very quiet and peaceful. A full English breakfast was included that was much more than we could possibly eat. We will stay there again when we are in the area. - Fantastically helpful staff, very relaxed proper local pub w... o que as pessoas dizem » ith lots of extra little touches. Log fires, great home-cooked food, perfect setting. Very clean, fresh, well designed rooms slightly separate from main pub. Couldn't have been better. - I absolutely loved the staff, especially Simon and Ged. The place really felt like a home away from home, and I felt like a 'local' even though it was my first time there and I was travelling alone! I also tried the chili, and it was delicious.
