O que as pessoas dizem
What can I say! Such a wonderful place to stay, very comfortable and the owner was so lovely and lively always there to help and offering up information about the area. Our room was very comfortable with a king size bed and on suite bathroom.
The food was amazing! Have the fish pie, it's to die for! We had dinner the evening we arrived and it was the best meal I've had in a long time! And the prices weren't bad either for the quality of the food! My other half loved the home made curry too! Br. todos opiniões »
The staff were very friendly yet professional and unobtrusive, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area an how to get to different places.
The room was comfortable and relaxing, with interesting décor and everything we needed.
The continental breakfast was of a very good standard, good quality ingredients and products, lots of homemade jams, fresh bread, fruit and good coffee. I was initially a bit disappointed they didn't offer a cooked breakfast but the standard of the continental brea.
We loved everything about the Forester and the Flower. It is located in Combe Down, a bit out of the way from tourist stuff--you will need to take a taxi or a bus to it (the bus stop for #1 is conveniently located right across the street!) which we liked--Bath is busy and it was nice to pull back from the crowds and take a nice walk on the foot path in the neighborhood! The decor is ADORABLE. I loved our room, with it's four poster bed, red and white mismatched bedding, and pale blue walls--s.
A really friendly Bed and breakfast about a mile and half away from the
Centre of Bath. With delicious, healthy breakfasts and comfortable rooms
to stay in. Very good value for money if you are planning a visit to
Bath. If you don't want to take your car into Bath paying
ridiculously expensive parking, use the bus. The number one bus is just
opposite and arrives into Bath bus station right near the heart of all
of the action. It will set you back £4.20 for a return fare. Also, I
would recommend.
WOW!!!!!! The moment you walk through the front door you just know that you're in for a VERY special stay. Everywhere you look there is something of interest to capture your attention - a visual buffet. Lou and Kirk are the most amazing hosts and make you feel very, very welcome. The rooms are delightfully appointed, the extra touches are very special and really appreciated. The meal we had in the dining room was such a treat for the taste buds and breakfast was yet another feast that just has .
Very friendly owners. Took time to be interested in their residents and were a font of knowledge as to local attractions which was useful as we were first time visitors to Bath. Excellent bus linkage to city bus station which gave access to other places of interest (we visited Bristol on a shopping trip).
Breakfast was better than expected.
Room tea making facilities included biscuits and bottled water which in our opinion is quite rare these days and the welcome packet of sweets was a nice tou.
We found the room to be very comfortable, cosy and quirky. We were even told on arrival that we had been upgraded, which was a nice touch. The room is situated above the pub, but there is a separate entrance which is handy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the pub on both nights and found the food to be lovely and well priced - would recommend. We also caught the bus (directly opposite the pub) into Bath, which was only a short ride away. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed.
We were made to feel very welcome, even though we arrived too early. Left the bags and popped into Bath using the very convenient No. 1, which stops right outside. Nice touches in the rooms and around the pub/restaurant which created a "home from home" ambience. Great choice of fruits nuts, cereals, breads & home made jams & marmalades with juices, tea & good coffee. Used the restaurant in the evening and was well pleased with the varied choice, presentation and content.
The Forester and Flower is a lovely B&B in Bath. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was bright, clean, colourful and very comfortable. The B&B was attached to a pub so it was easy to have a drink and obtain meals. The breakfast supplied with the booking was excellent. When we wanted to visit the town centre it was an easy bus trip down the hill which avoided parking problems in the town. All in all we were very happy.
The room is beautifully decorated and it seems every room has its own theme and decor.
Absolutely love every piece of the furniture in our room. It's really like living at home.
The landlady is very friendly and she very kindly upgraded our room from external bathroom to an en-suite.
The breakfast is continental thus very healthy.
Though we drove, theres a bus stop opposite to the house to go to the city centre, which is very handy.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable and were decent sized.
They were also very homely and nicely decorated. Bed was very
comfortable too.
The owners were very friendly and helpful giving us a map of Bath and explaining the bus times as the city centre is a short 8 minute journey on the bus. The bus costs around £4 for a all day pass which is a lot cheaper than parking in the city so don't let this put you off.
Lovely hotel, beautiful decor. great location, within 10 min drive of the centre of bath. would happily stay again.
Just a note for future travellers, restaurant for evening meal is not open on Sundays. This is not a bad point as other hotels we've been to do the same and their are a few pubs around this hotel that do serve an evening meal on a Sunday, so easily sorted.
Loved the quirky decor and the comfy kingsize bed, healthy & tasty breakfast, wonderful selection of rooms, very welcoming and lovely owners/staff. Great location, only a 10 minute bus ride into the City from right outside B&B. Free parking around the back. All in all cannot fault it, we had a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone.
Beautiful B and B lovely decorated room. Breakfast was continental and lots of variety.
We ate in the restaurant twice as it was so good. Nice friendly hosts. Parking on site and free wifi. Plenty of amenities in room tea coffee hot chocolate bottled water and sweets. Nice toiletries in bathroom with large fluffy towels. A pleasure to stay there.
Rooms are very cosy and well equipped. Tastefully decorated. Great breakfast. Bus stop right in front makes it very convenient to get to the city.
Owners were very friendly and helpful with tourist information. They do stock sufficient maps and brochure on Bath ..... almost like a mini tourist information center.
Well done Louise!.
Beautiful bed, perfect staff. The room was gorgeous and cosy which was
perfect on a cold windy night. The bath (we booked the suite) was
beautiful. The sweets by the bedside were a lovely touch. Good selection
of tea and coffee. The breakfast was outstanding. I've never seen a
breakfast like it in any B&B or hotel.
We Loved the place - we Loved the owner, we Loved the atmosphere and the friendly service and professional behaviour.
We Loved the decor and the space and the fresh and homely atmosphere - it really is a beautiful space.
The beds were fabulously comfortable
We very really taken care of - nothing was too much trouble.
The Eclectic mix in the rooms, bar, restaurant creating an interesting environment.
The staff were welcoming and friendly without being too 'in your face' if you love vintage, you'll love it here! The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up in the mornings! but when we did we were welcomed by a lovely breakfast.
Hosts were warm and friendly offering a good priced b & B. a pub
downstairs as part of the business provided an excellent evening meal
and a health light breakfast. Premises and hosts could not be faulted.
Wifi to rooms and on bus route if you don't have car. Highly
recommended for short of long stays.
The rooms were beautiful and the bed incredibly comfortable. Everything you could need was supplied including hairdryer, shampoos, bubble bath etc. The rooms had great personality in their styling. The staff were really helpful and cheery. Bus stop across the road is only an 8min ride into Bath center.
The decor of the pub.
The bedroom was warm and comfortable, our kettle was even filled for us and switched on before we walked up the stairs!
Personal touches in room and the friendly owner...
Relaxed atmosphere.
Planning on returning with family, as location good for shopping and trip to Longleat.
Loved the decor, very quirky just like the owners who were very friendly.
Very comfy bed and loved the little sweet treats on our arrival. Great location to centre of bath. About 10min by car, 15-20min walk to the lovely Prior Park which is great for a nice picnic, though it is paid entry.
Everything! There isn't anything I would change about this B&B the room was just lovely, breakfast to die for (and we're fry up type people!) jams home made just yum. Excellent location, I could go on and on about how fab this place is! We will be returning AND telling all our friends.
Great stay! Brilliant owners! Friendly and attentive! Rooms were perfect! Maybe 4 poster next time!!! Bed was sook comfortable!!!! All amazing!
For info a bus stop outside to get into Bath!!!!
Great stop over for couples visiting Bath or the Rugby!
Would thoroughly recommend!!!!.
Great hotel with a good price, friendly phone manner backed up by the same enthusiasm when we arrived. Enjoyed a nice lunch when we arrived. Nice room full of character and charm. Bus stop right outside the pub could not be easier. Would be happy to stay with hem again.
The Forester & Flower was well located and convenient. A short bus ride into town, so no worries about parking. Very friendly owners, who made us feel welcome. Will certainly recommend it. Lovely room and food, will certainly stay there if going to Bath again.
Loved the B&B, loved the quirky surroundings and furnishings so refreshing to stay somewhere 'different' with friendly hosts. Lovely fresh breakfast. Just over the road from the bus stop, short journey to Bath. Will definately go back if we get the chance.
Decoration is lovely and sweet. The owner takes very good care of the rooms and there is a bar just next door under the same name for breakfast, which is very nice.. and staff are very amiable and helpful. I love the atmosphere of this b&b very much.
We had a lovely stay at the forester and flower room was lovely the bed was comfy and the room was warm and cosy . Breakfast was delicious and the owners were lovely and welcoming will definately be going back cant think of anything negative to say.
The hospitality and friendliness of the owners & their lovely ambiance they've created at a lovely bed & breakfast place was just what we needed to feel "at home" and comfortable.
Thanks, & we highly recommend, & would come again.
Louise and her husband are very friendly and helpful. Room was small, but
cosy.breakfast is simple, but sufficient. The bar is very cosy and cool
during warm days. The food in the restaurant is very good. Busses every
half hour across the street.
Very friendly landlady and staff; room had everything you could ever need, and a lot of plug sockets. Free wi-fi. Restaurant lovely, had a really good meal. Breakfast was continental very good selection. Bus stop opposite to go into Bath.
The Forester and Flower is a charming creaky old pub very well organised for b&b guests as well as diners and people who use the pub. It was warm and comfortable, clean and welcoming. The owner,Louise Flower is friendly and helpful.
Very well located: quiet as if in the middle of the countryside and yet a mere 5 min drive from Bath.
Room very cleaned and bed very comfy. Hosts very friendly. Free parking. I would definitely stay again and recommend it.
Fasinating mix of furnishings and decor throughout. The owner was a delight, nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was all the better for not being the usual fry up. Yummy homemade jams, fresh bread, fruit, nuts etc.
Service was amazing. very friendly and helpful staff. room was good and everything was provided. hot chocolate was amazing. breakfast was excellent. especially the homemade jams. showers and toilets were very clean.
Very welcoming and friendly. Beautifully decorated and furnished rooms. Varied breakfast and plenty of it!
Hosts informative and helpful. Excellent all round experience, a definite tick for a return visit.
Louise & Kirk were excellent hosts, very friendly very welcoming, food was great, what we expected from an English B&B, would definately recommend to our friends, we would stay there again.
The owners are very friendly and enjoyable to get to know. The pub that is part of the facility was very enjoyable as well. The location is just a few minutes from the "Roman Baths" by car.
Lovely eclectic mix of furniture and furnishings. Very comfy bed. Many little extra touches in the bedrooms and public areas. Great food. Friendly and interesting hosts. Private car park.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Forester and Flower. The room was very comfortable and was beautifully designed and the bar/restaurant was very relaxing. A great trip!!
Mark Ireland.
Our hosts were great, the service was brilliant, parking supplied, the city was close, the rooms were amazing (House and Garden like) and the food was some of the best cuisine we have had.
Loved the quaint little room, absolutely loved the bed, soooo comfy, enjoyed the meals & conversations with the owners :) Would definitely stay again if ever over again from NZ :).
Friendly welcome, enjoyed our stay.Lovely roll top bath, could do with a shower over bath instead of hand rinse.Did not spoil our stay, breakfast was excellent.Highly recommend you stay.
Everything about the Forester & Flower was excellent! Both Louise & Kirk were great hosts and nothing was to much trouble, we would highly recommend the Forester and Flower.
First of all thank the boss to help me drive from a difficult to deal with situation。There is an exquisite Bar and Courtly warm bedroom.A breakfast of fruit and jam are very good。.
The very comfy bed, the bus stop just outside, the bus that takes less than 10 minutes into the city, free parking, very clean room and bathroom, very friendly helpful patron.
Wow what a great place. The food is very good and the people are so friendly. Thank you for a great weekend look forward to staying again ( maybe not the 5 hr drive though).
Super friendly hosts, great atmosphere, spotless quirky rooms, awesome continental breakfast with huge varitey of fresh fruits and pastries, onsite bar and meals a bonus.
Everything!!!! Fantastic hosts, room, food and drink. When you get a welcome like we did it means everything and certainly means we will be back! Thank you soooo much x.
Perhaps a little expensive, but the service and what you get for your money is worth it.
A really wonderful place to stay!.
The water system in the bathroom made a strange noise! This
shouldn't put you off from staying here though.
Only that we couldn't stay longer!!!.
Room had Saniflow type toilet system which whilst was very efficient was extremely noisy.
There was some low level noise from the pub on the first night, but that is to be expected and it did not go on too late. But, the second night we never heard a thing.
The room is very cold.
We couldnt even fall asleep in that coldness. So I had to use the hairdryer to warm up myself and the bed.
Every time we used the tap or toilet, there would be some loud noise as they are both mechanical. Didnt try the shower.
Nothing. We had a great time!.
Nothing we would 100 percent stay there again when in the area.
Narrow and steep staircase is cumbersome with big luggages.
A fan would be an added benefit since the windows were fixed.
Loud rumbling each time we use the sink / toilet due to old plumbing system.
The size of the key ring was massive and made of wood if I didn't
have a day bag for exploring Bath with, I'd be at a loss. Location,
but that was quickly sorted out by two buses nearly directly outside the
B&B. One very frequent one (the 13 on Fox Hill).
the walls were thin and so the noises of other guests carried.
the saniflow loo in our room was loud and irritating.
the door hinges needed oiling
we were sorry not to have been able to have a cooked breakfast
the showers were weak and temperature control was poor.
The car park is very small and hard to park in and to drive in and out of.
My partner would have liked a cooked breakfast but I was content with what was offered plus the fruit salad was lovely.
Nothing go visit this place!.
All fab.
nothing to dislike.
The water supply in the bathroom was not set ready to use and we spent some time to find out what was going on. The location may not be very accessible but we drove to there thus it was not really a problem for us.
We had difficulties finding the place as our GPS was not working and the map how to get there was confusing we'd come from Yeovil anyway we drove around Bath a few times, stopped at a hotel the other side of town they gave us directions, but we got a bit lost, eventually we found the place, by chance, it appeared in our view. Thanks goodness for the summer long days as we arrived at 19.30 a bit stressed and tired. So the internet site should have better instructions.
Bathroom was a few steps down the hall, which was not stated on
letsbookhotel.com. Room was quit small, best suited for short stays.
The breakfast was well presented but was fairly minimal - cereals, fruit, toast. The home made jams were lovely, though.
The restaurant is not open on a Sunday evening but everyone needs a night off!.
Sign for carparking was a bit unclear.
No negatives here!.
Our room was a little bit small, but very comfortable.
I can honestly say - nothing.
Nothing not to like!!.
