I like the feeling of beeing in a private house where everything is cared for by the owner or caretaker in a personal way. As a single traveler it's an advantage to stay in a Konak. Limited rooms, and the guests staying like to speak to other guests, which creates a good atmosphere. Asude Konak is this kind of place. I stayed 3 Nights and felt very comfortable in my room. Authentic cosy with a sitting area. I enjoyed a good breakfast. The owner Jale Hanim is a friendly lady and the two young ma. todos opiniões »
The owners were very gracious hosts. The food they prepared was the most memorable meal I had the entire trip! Jale's cooking was incredible! The hummus that she made was the best! I can't stop raving about the food!
The Konak was definitely interesting. It was nice to stay in a traditional house and actually get to interact with the owners. I really felt like we were welcomed as guests of the family and not just transient guests.
Very frıendly and helpful staff. Room large, aıry and wıth great vıew of Antep castle. The Asude ıs a stone's throw from the bazaar dıstrıct and a really good (and not expensıve) retaurant, the Iman Cadegas. Zeugma mosaıcs museum ıs a brısk 25 mınute walk away. Asude's breakfast was fıne, possıbly would be better when more guests are stayıng - I was there ın early Aprıl - also no evenıng meals at thıs tıme of year.
I stayed 5 days in this hotel, a lovely little hotel in an old and nice neighbourhood. The rooms are beautiful, breakfast is good and the personnel friendly and helpful. One evening I was invited to have dinner with the owner and ten of her Turkish friends. I did not understand a lot of the talking and jokes, but nevertheless enjoyed this evening very much. I loved to stay in this hotel.
It was right in the centre of the Old Town. Access to restaurants,
coffee shops and Bazaar, (although the Castle currently not open due to
rain disturbing walls plus City archeology museum is closed for
renovation). People who ran the Hotel were quite pleasant. The room
itself was comfortable but not the bathroom.
Small boutique hotel with rooms surrounding a leafy patio. Beautiful house in stone and wood with lots of old charm. The walls are thin so the call to prayer at dawn from the nearby mosque sounds like it's sung within the room. If that's good or bad is subjective, but you'll definitely wake up from it.
Nice and cozy, original. I felt I was living the life of 100 years ago. I saw the spirit of the city, Antep, the soft suffist place, in the hotel. The best was the friendly staff, Mr. Cihan, who served breakfast and answered to room request. Will repeat again.
The host was very kind, friendly and keen to help. The room has great traditional features and very comfortable. It is fully air-conditioned as well. The breakfast was superb. The location was also a great asset, which is right at the heart of old town.
This was an incredible hotel converted from an old Ottoman home with period rooms, yet more conveniences, Close to great places to walk and shop, including Imam Cadas restaurant. Fantastic breakfast served in the courtyard.
Very friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere in an old mansion for those who would like an elegant and nostalgic stay, a central location just nearby the old town and all the must-sees. Strongly recommended!.
I you want to live as a member of family over 100years ago you must choose these konak. Old furniture, same old building with cellar. Very kind and informative personnel !.

Location.
Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast!.
Excellent location,friendly staff.
location, staff, architecture. Asude Konak Hotel is a very traditional and warm ''house'', because it is a professional Bed&Breakfast-like hotel where you really feel you are a guest in South-East Turkey, as if you were a real guest or a relative of the staff. Not build as a hotel, but it is a traditional old (in a positive meaning) house, located in a street different than European people think about when they hear the word ''street''. You must walk on a path which leads you to above, where you can stand in front of the hote.
The staff were very helpful and extremely attentive. The owners allowed us to cancel the second night of our stay when travel plans changed! This was much appreciated!.
breakfast.
The bathroom was of - but a bıt tacky. Strange hot water boıler! But nothıng really to put off most people.
We stayed in the so called Deluxe Room for extra cost and the Bathroom
was not up to standard. No hot water tap for shaving, the shower water
went everywhere and when we asked about it they produced a squeegee out
of the corner to move the water around, it felt like washing your self
in a camping situation.
The guy in the reception was helpful and called a taxi for me. But if you're able to arrange it yourself you should consider that, as he doubles the price.
The room keys are uthentic, bt definitely leave these at the desk.
Staff speaks only Turkish, rooms can be a bit cold in the winter.
parking, very hard to find.Just that there was 1 toilet roll, but if I was there longer than 1 week, I would ask them for more and they would give it immediately. And you cannot throw toilet paper into the toilets. This is the only reason why I gave no 5 points of value to Clean, but 4: the room itself was perfectly clean.
The rooms lacked good design in the conversion from private home to hotel. The combined shower/toilet/sink bathroom is always a challenge but when combined with steep steps down and limited space, it became impossible. Even so with attention to some small details this could be a wonderful visit!.
cleanliness,.
This place was very disappointing. The breakfast was the worst we had in
Turkey, despite Antep and the hotel's claim to have excellent,
unique food. There were upturned mattresses in the courtyard and the
bathroom was a shabby construction in the room that reminded me of an rv
- it was just tacky. The staff was not helpful and it was not a
comfortable place and is very overpriced.
