The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We loved that The Countryside was a walk from the busy town, and super quiet amidst the rice paddies and mountains. We were able to hike out of the hostel and to a waterfall (6 hours round trip). So close to nature! I also appreciated that we had a fan and ac, so could decide to use one or the other, but even in March we didn't need either because it gets so wonderfully cool at night.
