I normally stay at @hualamphong to be close to the train station but it
was booked up on this occasion. This was a great alternative. It's a
hotel so very comfortable dorm rooms and nice bathroom. And right in the
middle of atmospheric Chinatown. Would definitely stay here again. -

Clean and nice budget hotel right next to the train station. I would stay here again if I where taking the train the next day, only a 5 min walk to the station (you can walk underground in the metro tunnel instead of crossing the busy road). Friendly, tall reception lady went out of her way on various occasions
to help us, because of this our trip to Thailand was made easier &
more enjoyable, so thank you very much! The service level in the
restaraunt was always friendly, and professional. Food was fantastic
& well priced. Location is excellent, right next to subway, which is
also very easy to use, stops are in Thai & English, it's cheap
& runs 6am-12am daily. Hua Lamphong station also across the road.

Central train station seems more convenient place for one-day traveller to crowded Bangkok, than well advertised KhaoSan.
2) Staff was super friend -
Staff were very helpful and patient. We arrived at 5am and were checked
in and escorted to our room even though check in is not until 10am.
Air conditioning was amazing, very comfortable room, good shower.
Breakfast area and library set up gave it a homely feel, opposed to a cold, dingy breakfast nook.
Hotel is a 5min walk from Bangkok Train Station which is handy when taking the 05:55 train to the Cambodian Border!

This hotel was only days old when we stayed so we only booked our first night in Bangkok here as we were unsure what it would be like. Chern hostel was an excellent place to stay. We got a twin room and it
was quite large and very comfortable with all facilities included. Very
large, open eating space with cutlery and hot water available to make
your own food. Beautiful layout, very open spaced and brightly lit in a
very new building. Thai proverbs are written on the walls throughout the
hostel which was a very nice touch. The staff were so friendly and spoke

Great little hotel with beautiful gardens. We have chosen it because of
its location. It is 15 minutes away from Grand Palace and Wat Po and it
is opposite Wat Rachabophit which was a bonus. We also liked the fact
that is wasn't near busy street or on horribly loud and busy Khao
San Rd. All rooms were facing the gardens and we didn't hear any
