The second you come in, the owner is there to greet you and check you
in. He's Scandinavian, his english is perfect and speaks Thai
impeccably. You can tell that he cares about the facility and the way it
is maintained and ran by the cleanliness and the quality of service. The
place is an incredible deal for what you get. The bungalows are

The staff is very nice and kind. The boss was well-prepared for every
customer, even can call their name when check in which made us very warm
and felt at home. The environment within the resort is also nice and
make us feel comfortable. The room is very clean and bright with several
windows. It is quiet and European style.

After 6 nights we decided to extend our holiday so, being on site in Koh
Chang I decided to visit some other hotels in the vicinity ..... Nothing
could offer the excellent beach setting that this hotel could. No other
hotel had such an extensive beach front which incorporated restaurant,
beach bar, swimming pool, and beach loungers all in the same

Meant I could lay on the beach whilst my children were only feet away
from me in the pool. Loved the beach cinema at nights. Lovely rainforest -
Staffs here are very friendly and efficient, Deluxe Room was nice, we very happy with it. Food is good, Lovely beach front hotel, convenient to walk over to others hotel along the beach. I am highly recommend this hotel, such a good value for money indeed!

The best I liked in Thailand is Koh Chang and it's due to Garden
Resort as well. I looked through about 100 Chang's hotels on
letsbookhotel.com and there wasn't a moment I regretted about my choise.
Spacious, clean and comfortable bungalow, various breakfasts - both
European and Thai food, great dining area and natural environment.

Really big and comfy bungalow with a great double bed and a big bathroom including a beautiful open shower with walls in black stone.
Cleaning was good and high standard resort in general.
Good and clean swimming pool.
Good breakfast.
Owner readily available and nice to deal with. He was really helpful by letting us stay a couple of hours beyond normal check out time.
Location is good near some beautiful beaches.

The resort is a little diffrent in a good way. It's bacically partly in the jungle (with monkeys) and partly buy the sea. The bungalows and rooms are big and spacious. Nicely decorated.

If you are in Koh Chang to relax and just enjoy nature then this is ideal. If you want party beaches then it's definitely not convenient enough going back and forth at night. The architecture is wonderful, and the surroundings are incredibly peaceful.

Beautiful hotel for a relaxing holiday. However in the evenings arranged a disco. As it is situated away from the road, then have dinner in the hotel. The food is beautiful and good, but expensive. this resort is very nice and luxurious. Nice environment as well, has its own private beach.
Most staff are nice and friendly.
Breakfast contains a lot of fresh fruits.
Provide shuttle bus to the main road.
prepared our room in a very sweet way as I required because of our anniversary (towel swan, flowers in the bathtub, "happy honeymoon(even though it's not,;p)" spelt by leaves, and so on.

The dewa is beautiful.as soon as you walk in you notice how much was put
in the small details and design. As well as for the room which is
designed in a unique Thai-western way. Perfect. The service was beyond
excellent. Everywhere you go the staff is there asking if you need
anything, there's always someone around. Service with smile and best
attention. Super kind! Spa is great- option for private room inside spa

Location is just on White Sand Beach!!! In the middle of country life and calmness of beaches.
Great infinity pool with sun beds near it.
Big bathroom with walk-in shower and bath-tub.

Kacha Resort has the best place at Whitesand beach. We stayed at
Hillside which is no problem. You can use both swimming pools and
breakfast is at the beachside restaurant. Also crossing the not very
busy street was easy as there is security staff helping 24hrs.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! The setting is on a river rather than
directly on the beach, this is reached by taking a kayak or being
ferried on the hotel boat. The rooms are light, modern and spacious and
the plunge pools was a god-send on a hot day. Breakfast is served down
by the river which is really scenic. -

It was truly a budget-friendly place. The comfort was not the best of 5
stars resort hotel but it was just enough for us and exactly what we
expected after reading some reviews. We stayed at a very basic bungalow
with a fan and a mosquito net and these two were essential to survive

Everything was nice. Very simple bungalow, anyway you spend most of
the time on the island somewhere on the beach or eslewhere. I would
recommend to take the house with aircon, if you go there during the
hot season.

A place of calm and quiet - very unlike the rest of low cost Thailand. The rooms are fantastic, and the pool area and the close access to beach make for a very relaxing stay. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel for 6 days. It was very calm and romantic. Nice bungalow and a green area around the hotel with coconut palms. Easy to get to the fishing village - road takes only some 5 minutes for 50 baht. They also offer a thai massage for 300 bahts on swimming pool area. It is really good. Personal is very very helpful,

Nice quiet location right on the beach. Away from the tourist area. Meals were excellent and reasonably value for money. Plenty of shells and coral to collect on the beach. Be careful at Bangkok Airport in relation to the transfer from Trat Airport to Koh Chang. A guy at Bangkok Airport wanted to charge us ฿570 each way. However there is a lady sitting at a desk beside the Car Hire Counter at Trat Airport and she charged us ฿400 each, each way, so be careful. The ferry had a good bar and

Having hired a scooter from The Stage we have seen the whole island and are so pleased we picked Kai Bae as our base. It's a small 'walking street' filled with restaurants and little shops but minus the neon lights and deep base pumping to the small hours (White Sands of you want that!)
