I was lucky, upgraded to the suite. Very comfortable beds, well appointed bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn. The hotel was comfortable and beautifully decorated like a game lodge. The meals were great. Free pick up from the train station, and return. -

It was a great hotel, in a location close to the town [5 minutes walk]. It seems like the hotel is newly removated, so very clean, and modern. Much nicer than some other 4* more expensive hotels I have stayed in in Zermatt. I will definately be staying there again -

Casa Vanessa is conveniently located near to the ski lift as well as shops/restaurants.We stayed at room 320 on the 3rd floor. The apartment was impeccably clean and cosy. We were able to enjoy nice view of the Matterhorn from the living room and balcony.

Great apartment! Loved the views. Located right next to the main Zermatt Gondolas. (Furi/Zermatt Glacier paradise) Loved the full kitchen. Staff even provided additional cooking pan when asked. All the bedrooms were unique and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

On arrival, Richard, the owner told us we had been upgraded to a bigger room and were given the Picasso room which was just fabulous with a lovely balcony looking directly at the Matterhorn. I loved the management; she was helpful and considerate and friendly too. I appreciated the great location to the train station and Gornergrat Bahn, yet it was a quiet street and we had good rest. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom large. All in all a great value, -

Hotel is ideally located near ski lifts. Staff was friendly and
attentive and offers free shuttle service to and from train station. The
room was comfortable, quiet, warm and clean and the view left us
speechless. Included breakfast offered a good variety of choices,
including dried meats, a local specialty. We will definitely return.

We were there off season so the staff was .limited but that did not stop them from providing excellent service, attending to our every need. The view is absolutely UNBEATABLE. You are practically on the Matterhorn. The gondola silently glides almost overhead from time to time offering excellent photos. I'm not sure if the view is better from the room or the restaurant/breakfast room.

Everything was just perfect, especially the "non-smoking throughout" policy - there was no smoke smell to put you off. Some other reviewers complained about the stairs one needs to climb to get to the hotel: from the street there is a short incline (not steep), followed by 20 steps to get to the hotel's front door. This is a place to spend a vacation you can dream of! We had a spacious room, lovely decorated, with a balcony overlooking Matterhorn. I liked big bathroom with a bathtub. The breakfast was excellent, with variety of cheeses, ham, vegetables, homemade jams, etc (again, served in a lovely decorated room). A short (about 10 min) walk to the railway station. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would never search for a different hotel if I decide to visit Zermatt again.
