We loved the feel of this house. The stone spiral stairs, the bare wood floors and the vaulted ceilings gives it so much charm. Although it has old world charm, it is incredibly cosy and warm. What really made a huge difference to us was that when we arrived, at 7am, to drop off our bags we were informed that we could actually check in then if we wanted so no need to wait till 3pm, the normal check in time; we were tired and hungry so we slept for a while, had showers and then had a fantastic breakfast. Boiled eggs, sliced meats, selection of cheeses, 4/5 types of breads, croissants, scones, cereals and a variety of dried fruits, 3 different yoghurts and juices: wow, a great spread! Tea, espresso, milk and coffee are available all day along with croissants and ginger biscuits

The rooms are small but what can you expect from an old building?

Very nice staff. Small but nice and clean rooms. Not far from metro station.

There was no internal connection between our room and the main building. For breakfast we've had to walk through the yard.

The character of the buildings and courtyard. An early breakfast which fits into business travel well.

Lack of tea / coffee facilities in the room. Taxi drivers didn't seem to know how to get to & from the hotel.

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel and its location. Also the breakfests were more than just good.

We had a wedding trip to Stockholm. We liked everything: the location of the hotel design, lots of pillows, good breakfast (delicious coffee). Staff assisted in resolving issues. The city and the hotel is very romantic and wonderful. The next trip will choose this hotel.

When reserving a room at letsbookhotel.com, I chose a standard double room. When we arrived at the hotel, we settled into a small double room. This is not the consistency of information and prices.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is located just around the corner of a metro station, it is in a quiet area, yet close to old city. The staff are really helpful and very polite. I liked the room a lot, it has a lot of charm and character. The breakfast was good too. Great value for money!

They don't replenish the soap or shower gel quite often, but this is the only point I disliked about this hotel

The old charm of the building. Very clean. Friendly. Quiet location but easy access to the city. Coffee and tea always available. Extremely comfortable bed and soft pillows.

Dim lighting in room made it difficult to read. Although the breakfast was very good, the room was often too cramped with not enough seating space.

The 4 polster bed was great! Beautiful decoration, very cozy and warm. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

We liked the fact that is was easy to communicate in our native language, English. The city was very clean. The people were friendly and Stockholm had an old city charm.

The location, on Sodermalm, a short walk uphill from the Zinkensdamm subway station, was excellent - very convenient, but also quiet. A wonderful base for our first visit to Stockholm. The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would be happy to return.

We did not like the room allocated (room 203), particularly the very limited storage space and the extremely small bathroom facilities, but Therese on reception was very helpful and gave us a room we were happy with. My review relates to the second room.

Very unusual design - our room was just under the roof - like Carlson's home. Great breakfast. Tea/coffee machine avalable 24 h. Friendly staff.

Be careful of your head while climbing into your room and inside of it. We had a brick floor in our room and no slippers. Hotel's brochure promised to change a pillow on request - but they refused when we asked.

It's a nice hotel with well appointed and very comfortable rooms. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The T-bana station is just around the corner so it is very easy to travel around Stockholm. Sodermalm is a good area with lots of nice bars and restaurants.

The rooms in the basement are very close to the breakfast room so you can get a fair bit of noise from that.

The building itself and it's authentic character, the location - very close to an underground station, very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Some beautiful antiques and rugs used.

The room was a bit cramped, the bathroom VERY small. The coffee lounge area could have been more comfortably furnished.

Breakfast was excellent, location convenient to transport.

Room decore is nice to look at, but not practical for travellers with cases. Signage on the hotel was small - the taxi driver found it hard to find.

The relaxing atmosphere - felt like being in a resort. I have my own private patio outside my room. The toilet is modern and clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I hope they would install a refrigerator in the room. I couldn't store any food such as fresh milk.

The hotel is charming with rooms and building in a old style. The facilities are modern and good. It is in the middle of a garden and quiet even if relatively central.

The small rooms are really too small to be comfortable. The breakfast could be more varied and nice.

Lovely old building, very stylishly restored and renovated, with great eye for detail. Cosy and welcoming rooms, and very friendly and helpful staff; I uld recommend it to anyone.

The rooms (especially the bathroom) were very small and there was little space to put our clothes and toilettries.

Very cosy, quirky hotel with lots hidden corridors. Good breakfast. 24 hour tea and coffee availability

Would have liked tea and coffee facility in annexe where we stayed. It was a bit difficult to negotiate icy paths, door and stairs trying to carry hot drinks.

I had a lovely large room with a very comfortable bed with a bathroom and separate toilet. The hotel is close to the underground and very fast to the centre of town. Its also very close to the shopping and restaurant/ cafe area of Sodermalm. It's a nice walk to the Old Town as well.

Very nice atmosphere in this hotel. Our room was very nicely decorated with old furniture and the bathroom was really stylish. Great bed! Very good breakfast as well in the cosy basement.

Location, close to Gamla Stan, in a quiet and attractive area of the city. V helpful and efficient staff. Stylish and well-equipped room. Comfortable bed.

Rather surprised that windows were only single-glazed & when the wind blew one night, they were draughty; to stop them rattling we had to stuff tissues between the window and the frame!

The hotel was pretty, breakfast was ok, facilities sufficient, location was great. Would stay again, but in a bigger room

The front gate kept this awful noise for the first 2 nights and our room was just by it, woke us up few times in the morning. It was fixed on our day of departure though. Would be a good idea to add lactose-free products on breakfast as lots of scandinavians at least require it, but I do understand it is not available everywhere. The small doubleroom was really small but I kind of suspected that when booking so it was ok, will however be happy to spend a bit more next time to get a larger room.

the rooms (we had the rooms under the roof), the staircaises and the breakfast room are very narrow and not appropriate for tall persons (bring a helmet with you).

My room was good, big and comfortable.

Others in our party struggled with the rooms in the eaves. Breakfast was poor and chaotic - too many people, not enough tables, no coffee when we arrived for breakfast. Soft boiled eggs were anything but. One of our party arrived around midnight from the airport. I took him 20 minutes to raise the night staff to let him in.
