Liked everything, great staff and excellent location. Very clean and comfortable, the heated swimming pool, roof top for sun bathing. Look forward to staying there again :)

Apartments were really nice and spacious - we had an apartment with 'no view' which I was concerned about before going but there was no need as the balconies are very big and we were still able to get a view of the slight view of the sea and town. Apartments were in a fabulous spot right beside the main street in Puerto Del Carmen where all the bars and restaurants are! Pool and sun terrace area were beautiful and looking out on to the sea and it was never an issue with getting a sun bed to lie on. Staff were also very nice especially the man working in the bar beside the pool!

The beds were slightly uncomfortable as the mattresses are very thin and base of bed creaks. Also no air conditioning so I got bitten alive by Mosquitoes from leaving the windows open at night - i'd get over those minor things though and would definitely recommend staying in Morana!

Apartment was lovely as we paid extra for a sea view. Nice little complex with every thing you needed. Pool, plenty sun beds on the sun deck that got the sun all day and a pool bar serving snacks. perfect.

This complex is only 150yds from main beach but it is 150yds of very steep hill! might be to hard for some,

apartments were clean and of a good size, the pool was always clean, the location was ideal although on a fairly steep hill (but that's Lanzarote for you), great selection of places to eat out, apartements are good value for money, I would stay here again

Great staff and location was perfect for us. Poolside bar was very reasonable and garlic prawns were to die for !

nowhere to shower for us when we had an evening flight home, were told to use the cold water outdoor pool shower (not happening !)

loved these apartments. Paid for the sea view which was amazing and totally worth the money. Staff are very nice. Supermarket right around the corner. Very close to pubs and restaurants.

Would have loved an umbrella at the pool but very rare in lanzarote

I liked the location and the apartment.

The sea view apts are very expensive. We were put in an apt overlooking a bar at the bottom of the hill. The back wall of the pub was made of glass and our balcony had glass so we were looking at each other, no privacy. It was costing €30 per night but to upgrade for a better apt it was €48 per night.

Great location for accessing the beach and Puerto del Carmen's facilities. We got a good price for our week's stay.

The hill approaching these apartments from the strip is very steep. There is no air conditioning and although we rented a fan it was still very hot both day and night. There are not enough sunbeds at the pool to facilitate sunbathers who prefer to remain at the pool.

The location was excellent. The pool area and rooftop terrace were fabulous for sunbathing with stunning views.

The cleanliness of the apartments, fresh towels every other day. Helpful staff, lovely sunbathing area and clean pool.

The wifi does not stretch to the apartments and therefore can only be used in reception.

No umbrella at the pool asked for one but they don't supply them nobody could stay at the pool for long go on holiday every year and I was never in an apartment with no umbrella at pool before cleaners only came once for the week no tea towel had to ask for toilet roll and clean towel for bathroom

Great location and the guy who wrked at the snack bar was a real gent and his service was brilliant. Great value for money and I will be back to stay again im sure.

Would have liked fresh towels more frequently. once every 3 days is not enough considering you shower up to 3 times a day in the heat.

The hotel was overlooking the ocean and very close to town. It wasn't the Ritz, but it wasn't a hostel either. Nice that it had a mini kitchen and lanai. The pool and sun deck area were wonderful. I have to say it had the cleanest pool I have ever seen.

Absolutely no amenities, I understand that it's like an apartment hotel, and people usually stay longer than my 3 days, but it would have been nice to have at least a bar of soap. The beds were very hard and the pillows were horrible. Also, no A/C so we had the windows open, the mosquitoes were having a feast on us.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Pool was divine, just a little small. Pool side bar was nice and relaxing. Proximity to old and new towns and beach was unreal. Very good location.

The beds were quite hard and pillows were not comfortable. Did not like the fact you had to rent a toaster! Renting a safe is standard, that's fine; but a toaster, come on.

We loved the view from our apartment 212 the location was excellent and felt very secure in apartment. It is very convenient to shops, beach, restaurants, bus stop and everything you would require. The pool area is great and fantastic views.

We loved the location. The apartment gave us easy access to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants and was within walking distance to the old town and harbour. We loved the pool and sun-bathing terrace with the lovely view of the sea.

All the souverign shops selling the same old ornaments. but mainly what I did'nt like about Porta de Carmen was that you could not walk past a restaurant without being hassled by someone to go in.

The cleaning service was excellent. The apartment was central to where we wanted to be. The configuration of the accommodation met our needs (husband / wife + 16 year old son)

There was no view of the sea - in future we would like an Apt with a sea view.

Very big and spacious appartments in a great location just off the main strip. Pool area and roof terrace was lovely. Definitely a good place to stay

As with all these appartments the beds are single beds and not very comfortable. No toaster and had to rent it for the week for a tenner! Also cost €15 for the safety deposit box. The cleaning lady wasnt very thourough and used an old mop that left the odd strand on the floor. She didnt touch the dishes either. No wi-fi in the appartments, only at the reception area.

Pool especially heated , space to sit out restaurant

I would like to be able to do wifi in the restaurant so I could have a coffee or a drink as I went on line bedroom v small towards the sitting room. Electrical fittings fault

We loved the location, the sea and mountain views from our balcony were superb, The pool area was nice particularly the roof top sunbathing area, and the very pleasant man at the pool side snack bar

The bathroom was old and smelly, the shower had no power and was slow to drain, the smell from the drains was awful. This would have been bearable if we could at least have left the windows open, but with no mosquito mesh on any of the windows including the bedrooms this wasn't an option. This surprises me as so many Irish and UK holiday makers stay here and the mosquitos love us. An area to shower and change after check out and before our flight home would have been very welcome.

The staff at the café at the pool area were very friendly. However, one of the receptionists was very abrupt and made myself and my partner feel as though we were being unreasonable when I explained to her that we were not willing to stay in the apartment which we were provided with. We had paid extra to secure a sea view. We did have this view but we were also next to the main road. People on the street walked past our balcony and we looked directly onto the supermarket located beside the complex.

Many of the apartments are accessed directly by the street and this does not provide much privacy. There was also a bottle bank nearby and on many early mornings we were awoken by the sound of breaking glass. These apartments are located midway up a very steep hill.

Beach proximity. Stores all around very convenient.

No wifi in apts. This is 2013, everything in this world goes through the internet. Only in reception, which isn't opened 24hrs, so difficult for communications with family in far away countries (i.e.: Skype). Cleaner walks in locked apts with their keys, without knocking. Was in washroom with door open, quite shocked! Asked her to knock next time, so she walks out and knocks!! Too late, maybe!?! Steep hill coming from main road (beach) can turn off many.
