The man on the reception (although appeared to have little English) was very helpful and made every attempt to answer all our questions about the area. He even looked after our bags after check out until we were ready to go to the airport.

We loved everything, close proximity to the beach, very relaxing, lovely room. Staff was very accommodating. They changed our room for us to one with a better view. Most reasonably priced hotel we stayed at during our month in Spain. The food was also very good.

I liked the location, cleanliness of the complex, the modern decor. Everything about it was perfect. It was definetley like a home from home. Rooms were as pictured. The staff was so helpful in every way. They went far beyond what was required to make our stay comfortable, even helping with booking a flight. These are truly small apartments, complete with stove, fridge, pots and pans, dishes, etc. There was free parking available a few minutes walk away. The owners of the apartment were lovely and very helpful. I have some health problems which means I cannot lift anything heavy and the owners helped me with my case, shopping etc. I am learning Spanish and the lady there was very patient with me, speaking slowly and helping me out with anything I needed.
The roof terrace is lovely with great views across Nerja.

Pepe Mesa is lokated on a fairly calm street, away from busyness and noise but very close to shops and restaurants. Nice functional rooms in traditional Spanish style. Nice roof terrace with sea view, great for a drink in the evening or dinner with wonderful mountain view. Nice pool - looked larger in pictures on line :-) Fresh towels daily. Friendly staff.

It is very clean, very well decorated, a charming place! We have been amazed as it is a 2 stars but the service is definitely 4 stars! We liked everything about it and the owners are lovely people. Take time to look at the wonderful paintings on the hotel walls, painted by.Carla, the owner, a great artist! We will be back!
