  The hotel had a lot of charm. It was clean (clean towels daily and beds changed during a 5 night stay), a great shower with plenty of very hot water, comfy beds and heating! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Although quite basic the breakfasts were fresh and plentiful. The position of the hotel just off La Rambla was superb. It's a great hotel for a group of friends on a short break - The location was brilliant! - just off La Ramblas, 2 minutes walk from the metro and 3 minutes walk from a Carrefour supermarket. Our room was simple but comfortable enough for our needs. We were particularly pleased to have a room on the fifth floor - it meant that our room was very quiet. We couldn't hear the street noise at all, which meant that after a day surrounded by the buzz of the city, our room was a good place to relax, switch off from the noise, and sleep!   I stayed 2 nights and I got really good price like 11 and 13 euro(if you lucky,you can find on the letsbookhotel.com).. Kitchen modern and complete regarding all our needs--- came with clean and complete dining set, cookware, etc. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, water pot, toaster stove all worked great. Internet access was fast and reliable. Air conditioning worked great. Building had secure code-entry and felt reasonably safe. Sleeping space was adequate. B - Everything was good, location is exellent (on the main street of Barcelona), balcony is a great plus. Somebody said that it is a too much noise from the street, but if you close all the windows - there is no noise. If I will be in barcelona next time, i will stay in this appartment.

  The apartment was nice and very clean. It is provided of everything and it's in a really nice and quiet area.   Excellent location near La Rambla and the in an interesting area near the Town hall(Ajuntament) and Cathedral. Appt was clean and much larger for our family than the hotel rooms we have used before. Children enjoyed the space and able to relax so much more. Plently of small tapa'sbars near by.
