You can also choose from a variety of activities, including boat trips, fishing, and scuba diving in Simon's Town. Boulders Beach is 6 km, while Cape Town is 22 km away. A car rental service and free private parking are also available on site.

We loved our stay in the upper deck at the Boathouse. The room was spacious, well designed and very comfortable. We had an amazing view over the bay from our private balcony and all of the amenities that we needed (kettle, fridge etc). The best thing of all was the owners, Therese and Lud, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and interesting. The breakfasts were amazing and included home-made muffins, which were delicious, and if you couldn't fit them in after a very tasty cooked breakfast.

Loved the games room and swimming pool (but would be even better in summer!). Ideal base to visit both city (capetown) and coast (sharks, whales, cape point). We've had a lot of great hosts in South Africa, but the ones at Boat House were probably the best. Even the housekeeping staff is super-friendly. The water in the swimming pool should be a little bit warmer. not a lot. having to leave. Leaving. can't think of any. I'm allergic to cats and didn't know that a cat had been allowed in the rooms. I had some slight reactions to it. Nothing. Leaving.
