Beautiful old-time large room with nice view from the window. In the center of the Moscow you feel full silence and calm.

very close to the metro, fantastic staff - very helpful and they spoke excellent english. the rooms are HUGE. Food from the restaurant was excellent. Other people have complained about the breakfast - I didn't see anything wrong with it. For the same price as the big chain hotels downtown it was perfect

A little far out from the centre (but the metro links are good). Opening the door from the inside was confusing (you have to put your key card into a slot as though you were opening from outside!) The pillows were cheap foam - huge letdown compared to the bed

The room size, bed, comfort, breakfast, the bathroom are all great. The whole hotel is a part of the Petroff Palace, and that makes it a really interesting place to visit. You see the old restored Russian palace and stay in a 4 star hotel. The restoration is new, and everything inside and out is newly painted and restored. Also, all safety measures are fully compliant with the most stringent Russian rules.

some parts of the palace were off limits due to pre-arranged functions taking place (a tour and a wedding). It happened every day we were there.

It is a historic palace, which has been beautifully restored. The atmosphere in the hotel was serene and the architectural beauty was staggering.

The location of the hotel in a historic building. The general helpfulness of the staff. The room. The price, in relative terms - I paid $240 as an average price per night in one of the world's most expensive cities.

This is not related to the hotel but as a general advice, one should be very careful when using taxis.

The hotel is an old palace that looks fabulous. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the service is ok. Breakfast is ok.

I liked the extremly friendly and supportive staff in the hotel as well as in the resustaurant. The hotel is located very convenient 5 min walk from the Metro station Dinamo, from where you reach the city centre in 12 minutes.

One of the best hotel value for money, after the long journey on the bike and the result of tours in the beautifull city, the hotel offered to guests included in the price of being, able to use sauna, turkish bath and swimming pool! In our early check-out, they have prepared excellent breakfast to take with us.

they have kept the authentic appearance very clean fabulous bedroom - spacious and again very clean staff on reception were very helpful secure environment

the breakfast - there was little there for a range of tastes I asked for a fried egg or omelette as I don't like hard boiled eggs and was told I couldn't have either.

Excellent hotel but a bit far from the center. There is metro station near by. So, it is very easy to get to the downtown Moscow. The place is great and very spacious room and wonderful friendly staff. We would definitely stay there if we come back to Moscow.

This is a very grand place to stay. The staff went out of there way to assist us as English speakers. The masseuse is fabulous.

Unfortunately they do not have a license to serve alcohol at their restaurant. The Health centre opens after 9- it is very late if you want to use facilities before starting the day.

I liked everything, literally. No complains at all. Everything was high quality, the staff was very nice, the room was beautiful, quite luxurious and very clean. The hotel in general was very good, all the lounge areas were great, the gym and the swimming pool, jaccuzzi and sauna were great. Everything was just super comfortable. The location of the hotel is not very central, but it is very close to the metro (7 or 8 minute walk) and it's just a couple of stations until the centre, so it was totally fine, too. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to feel well treated and have a very pleasant time in Moscow.

Petroff Palace is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. Beautiful architecture, nice location, and friendly staff. There is simply nothing like it in America.

Petroff Palace was in the process of changing owners. It was owned by the military until very recently, and has been a hotel for a very short time. Because of this, some of the palace is being renovated for guests.

Nice stuff - people are really proud of their hotel. Atmosphere - seems like you're in another dimension in the middle of Moscow. Big park, just 40 rooms, breath of lost empire )))

The hotel staff is very kind and the location very good for a nice and confortable stay in Moscow; the underground station is then nearby.

The swimming pool wasn't open in the morning and this has been not very good for a business overnight.
