  Try to get room number 1, (smoking allowed & your own shower/toilet)... the view from the window is something else! There's no food provided but hotel Alfa is beside a decent café. It's also only 2 minutes away from the train station & you only have to walk around the corner for your nearest smoke. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (I was having back spasms and they really took care of me.)   The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam! The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day. The toilets and shower were clean the majority of the time minus a few when it had just been used! And the beds were very comfy.
