From the first moment we arrived the owner and his staff made us feel very welcome and we really felt at home immediately.

Ryad Watier was an amazing B&B. Large, spacious and nicely-decorated
rooms! Jean Gabriel, the owner, was so outgoing, friendly and
accommodating. He was very helpful when my boyfriend had a fever.
Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful and dinners are top-
quality. Essaouira was our favorite city, although a bit more touristy
than other Moroccan cities, the beach has great watersports and lots of
activities and great restaurants. We really enjoyed our time at Ryad
Watier and w

We loved our stay in Riad Houdou because of the beauty of the place, and
the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors,
and all the lovely staff. I went with my two elderly aunts and we had a
fantastic time. They made every effort to ensure that the place was
comfortable and beautiful while respecting the Moroccan style and

From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.

We stayed at La Mason Arabe for 3 nights. It was such a wonderful
experience, at first glance when you are dropped off by the taxi and
walk through the narrow ally you would bet apprehensive as to wht lays
ahead. The minute the door is opened for you, you will get engilfed into

We had a lovely stay at La Maison Arabe. While it could never be
called cheap, it was well worth the money we spent. The staff are
absolutely lovely, the hotel is beautiful. Our room was stunning,
perfectly clean, quite large. We were given a complementary half
bottle of wine on arrival.
We spent the afternoon at the country club which was perfect - it's 10/15 minutes in a shuttle bus. The staff there are amazing, I was told "here, everything is easy", which it was! We ate lunch here, which was

We stayed in 4 places in Morocco and this was definitely the most luxurious.
My husband unfortunately arrived ill and the staff fell over themselves to get him medicine, special foods etc.
It's in a tricky to find part of the city but they have that covered with a guide that takes you, clear maps and even supply a mobile phone so you can call if

Excellent food, rooms and it was nice to have somewhere to sunbat -
The staff were superb - very friendly and very helpful. They provide a
very useful mobile phone to use if you get lost (and they will come and
get you). They could not have been better and they made the trip very
enjoyable - they always had a smile so you felt as if you were a
special guest.
The terrace levels on the top floor made a wonderful oasis when returning from a busy walk in the medina. They will bring you (free) mint-flavored lemonade which is very refreshing.
