  Check in was very good, room clean and comfortable, swimming pool very good. We only ate the food at the pool and it was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. - Large rooms large bathrooms excellent location hospitality of staff

Located in the medina but a little far away from the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate.

  Very characterful, but modernised riad. Offered upgraded room, which was very spacious and well appointed. Excellent location, close to Bab Bou Jaloud and Bou Inania Medersa. Tanneries an easy walk downhill along the main thoroughfare of medina. Good access to Merenid Tombs for brilliant sunset views. Upstairs terrace great for relaxing.   We booked the cheapest room in this beautifully restored traditional riad, but as there were few other guests we were given instead a larger more luxurious room. It was gorgeous! We loved everything about this riad, but our most favourite were lovely Moroccan breakfasts in the courtyard to the sound of a tinkling fountain, having mint tea on the t... o que as pessoas dizem » errace watching the sun set over Fez, and dining in house on our first night, on wonderful local dishes cooked and served by the delightfully friendly - The friendlyness of the staff is incredible. I have never before experienced a warmness like this before, as if you are coming home with friends. My friend was sick wenn we arrived and was taken care of immediately. Sakina and Hussein bought him medication, for which they did not want to get any money. They boiled him rice and did not charge, etc. These are lovely people. And the Riad is a nice place. An oasis of calm in the hectic of a Moroccan city.

  Very good selection for breakfast. Perfectly comfortable. Could have been staying in any western hotel. No Moroccan feel at all. Would not stay here if you wanted to experience morocco - It is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.   I expected traditional Moroccan decor at this Riad and can say I was not disappointed - my room was just fantastic! The breakfast was exceptional with a great variety of food and plenty of it. The locality of the Riad was good once I had worked out where I was in relation to the medina. I leave my final comments for the staff - they just could not... o que as pessoas dizem » be faulted and contributed to me having a wonderful stay at La Maison Verte. There was Hicham who was in charge of security etc; Khadija and Habiba - There was nothing about La Maison Verte which we didn't like.It is a most beautiful riad, the staff were exceptionally friendly,helpful in any way and treated us to lovely extras to eat and drink. The food at the Palais Verte was wonderful. The views from the terras is incredible. The only negative we have to say is that we didn't stay long enough!!! Getting to the riad by car was a little daunting at first,but someone met us and drove ahead of us,from there on we were well taken care off.
