Everything. The Riad is gorgeous and perfectly located just steps away from the medina. The manager Kacem and his staff were extremely helpul and courteous and the food was outstanding. I visited twice and would gladly return a third time. Thank you!

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. They even changed our room as soon as they saw how tall my husband is and gave us a king sized bed. Breakfasts are wonderful and dinner on the first night was also good. Roof terrace is a real bonus for an outside space to relax.
Everything about Riad Ahlam was excellent, it must be the best accommodation of this type I've ever stayed at.

The staff was just about as friendly and helpful as you can get. The place is quite magnificent, the rooms beautifully appointment and the food good and abundant. We felt welcomed and catered to. I highly recommend this hotel.
The entrance is along a bare alley near a parking lot. You don't notice this when you're inside because you're in a lovely courtyard. Everything in Fez is like this, nothing on the outside and beautiful on the inside.
All the arrangements the hotel made on our behalf were excellent. The taxi driver was at the airport as we arrived and we also had a wonderful day out including a trip to the Roman ruins at Volubilis. The hotel itself was very comfortable and the breakfast was superb. Kasim was a wonderful host, always ready to answer questions. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus and the hotel is very handy for the Medina.
Welcome, Welcome, that's the word that you hear the most in this Riad, but it's not just a word because Kacem and his team really do make you feel at home and part of their family. Nothing was too much trouble for Kacem, from booking the airport taxi to providing us with guide maps and giving endless advice, what a nice man!!. The other sound you heard a lot was Fatiha's infectious laugh, such a lovely person and what a cook!! We are pretty adventurous and will eat anywhere but never found the need to eat out side the Riad as her evening meals were so good and with Omar providing front of house service you never had to wait for the delicious food. Then there is the breakfast, I like my food but there was so much to eat and it was so good that I never felt the need to eat lunch. Rajae and Nadia kept the fantastic rooms spotlessly clean and were always smiling, helpful and polite. It was a pleasure to stay at the Riad Ahlam and we would not hesitate to book this establishment again if we ever venture back to Fes.

This is by far the best riad we stayed during our vacation in Morocco. The staff was helpful and very nice to us. We asked a lot of questions and they were always happy to help us. The rooms are fabulous. The breakfast was at least 3 times bigger and better than all other places we have been. They were handing us water freely. Even if it doesn't cost much, it is easier to get water from the riad than to bargain it in the streets! Other riads I won't name were ripping off customers by selling water 10x the street price.

I would absolutely stay here again and strongly recommend it to anyone. We were picked up at the hotel by a driver sent by the hotel- very friendly and spoke some english. Hotel manager, Kasem, also spoke english and was very friendly and accommodating. We had the best mint tea and delicious food prepared by the charming Fatima. We would go back again just to see her! Armond, the hotel assistant, was kind and helpful. The hotel also arranged for Nadia, a guide, to help us navigate the very different surroundings in Fez. I would highly recommend her for anyone going to Fez. She taught us a lot about the history as well as helped us from getting too ripped off at the markets. The riad is absolutely beautiful.

If you want to feel like at home...stay here! Kacem is a fantastic "landlord", he is very kind, helpful...always available for you. Fafty is a wonderful chef ... the best place in Fez to have breakfast and dinner is the Riad Alham! Riad is beautiful, suggestive ambience, awesome suite, great position, wonderful terrace with a superlative view on Medina. No doubt for a next trip in Marocco will definitely come back here!

The riad Ahlam is very well situated in the old medina at Fes. The staff (manager Kacem, chef and waitress Fatea and waiter Omar) really care about your happiness and enjoyment. If there is anything you need just ask Kacem - if it is possible he will arrange it, e.g. guided tours. Breakfasts are great and the evening meals were the best we had in Morocco.
Riad Ahlam lived up to its name as the Garden of Dreams. The building which appeared as bare walls from the outside, opened up into an enchanting courtyard with trees, columns and a fountain on the inside. Our room was likewise like a set from Arabian Nights with furniture, doors and tiles made by traditional craftsmen. The staff were warm and friendly and their motto was clearly 'Your wish is my command'. Breakfast in the courtyard was heavenly (and all inclusive!); fresh fruit salad, melon and a choice of fresh pancakes, doughnuts and bread with omelette, jam and honey etc. I would definitely like to stay in this Riad again.
Excellent service, excellent location. Makes you feel at home in Fes. Good food and particularly nice breakfast. A beautiful building, very atmospheric.
I had a problem with my credit card not being accepted but this really was the fault of the bank group with whom the Riad links as the card has otherwise caused me no problems.
Riad Ahlam was wonderful, we truly enjoyed our stay. The staff, especially Kecem (the manager) and the lovely lady who prepared dinner, were so nice, helpful and hard working. The place is beautiful, and we had a fantastic meal our first night at the Riad. It is not too hard to find, with convenient parking, and the location is perfect as it is in the heart of the old city. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it!
