Minang Cove is a beachfront resort, located in the south of Tioman Island, a 10-minute speedboat ride from Genting Jetty. It boasts a private beach area and offers diving and snorkelling opportunities on-site. Minang Cove is located a 20-minute speedboat ride from Berjaya Resort’s 18-hole golf course. Tioman Airport is a 30-minute speedboat ride away. It takes a 2-hour ferry ride to reach Genting Jetty on Tioman Island from Mersing Jetty. Air-conditioned rooms each come with a terrace offering sea views. Tea/coffee-making facilities and a refrigerator are provided. En suite bathrooms include free toiletries. Guests can relax with a massage in the spa or head for a canoeing trip. The resort has a small library and garden. Currency exchange services are available. A selection of local and Western cuisine is served in Minang Restaurant. Guests can also order from a variety of refreshing beverages at the beach bar.

Minang Cove is a beautiful resort and reaps the benefits of having been developed over the last 20 years or so. The landscaping creates a beautiful garden environment by the sea and welcomes an abundance of everything from butterflies to black squirrels - to pussy cats! Our rooms was heavenly ( a superior beach front). I don't think I would have enjoyed having to walk up the steep hill to some of the other rooms and I fear mosquitoes may be a problem further back from the water. We read lots of.

Ferry and speedboat transfers must be arranged directly with the hotel 7 days prior to arrival. Charges apply for the transfer and are to be paid to the hotel directly. Guests are to collect their ferry tickets at the hotel's office, located opposite Mersing Jetty. The balance payment of guests' accommodation are to be paid at the same time. Guests are to pay a compulsory Marine Park Conservation Fee at Mersing Jetty before the ferry transfer.
