The service at this hotel went above and beyond. When we asked for a
recommendation of a good sushi restaurant, the concierge actually ran
out to a place, got us a table, and then walked us there! Impressive.
The place is lovely--much nicer than even the photos could illustrate--
and in a great location, near trains, shops, and great restaurants. The
public baths are wonderful, and a marvelous breakfast was
offered...complete with Miles Davis LPs on the turntable. We liked the

VERY Large rooms by Tokyo standards.
Excellent attentive staff who after one night away from the hotel, put our bags in the room and remembered every special request which we previously had asked for and were all ready in our new room when we got back!
Location: quiet enough but with enough going on nearby to keep you occupied.

Hotel is a quiet and peaceful haven in a busy, interesting area, just
minutes away from many things to see and excellent traditional shopping.
Staff are helpful, although it will help if you can speak a little
Japanese. I have stayed in their tatami rooms before and this time
stayed in a single (western style) room which was spacious for a single.
Good to have free wifi, unlike many hotels. Tip - buy the koto cd at the
reception desk as a memento.

incredibly friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night as we were
booked in at another hotel closer to Disneyland but honestly, we wished
we had stayed here instead as it was cheaper, bigger, nicer and with

This hotel is in a really great location. Close to the Asakusa Gate and temple and there are many small shops and restaurants close by. For Tokyo staying in Tokyo as a family of 4 we had plenty of space in a traditional Japanese room. I would stay again without hesitation.

Once we know which Ikebukuro exit to take, it became very handy as it was only 2 minutes away. Take Echika exit 6 rather than the west gate of Ikebukuro station. It has elevator - good for travelers with luggage like we were.

- Good location. The hotel is near Harajuku station, Omotesando and Meiji Shrine. Despite of not be located in the major street there´s a sign pointing the hotel direction that makes very easy to find it.
