The staff were wonderful. Although they didn't speak much English, they are ver attentive to our needs. We arrived soaking wet with the typhoon Francisco. The receptionist promptly asked (with hand gestures), if we would like to borrow their big black umbrellas.

Perfectly situated next to Ueno-Station! From here you can get easily to the airport and in the city. Check-in is easy. The room interior design is minimalism and bold. The toilet has sliding door so you can leave it open if you travel alone. That helps make the room feel more spacious.
Close to Ueno train station which is connected to a maze of shops and restaurant underground. I found a good restaurant that served fresh and delicious but cheap sushi and sashimi there.

This is a big hotel. Located very close to Iidabashi subway station.
Once we figured out the subway - in a day or so - this was very
convenient. We were in and out a lot catching the subway from Iidabashi.

The hotel is well located, Shibuya is a few minutes walking distance. And even when you head to the other side, there are some nice areas. Tidy hotel with nicely decorated rooms and handy connections to most of Tokyo through Shibuya subway station and JR train lines.
Situated in a lively area (although very busy with hoards of people and plenty of noise) with lots of cool small restaurants and bars nearby.
The hotel staff was also happy to store our luggage for some time both before and after our stay, which was greatly appreciated.
