  The Pisani is an amazing hotel of old world charm and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful furniture and surroundings made for the perfect stay. It was a perfect place to sit and sip Prosecco while watching the tourists drift by on their Gondolas. There a few nice little restaurants nearby and a great patisserie with a huge range of delicious macaroons (and other - My 17yr son and I loved staying at Palattezzo Pisani because it was a real Venice experience ( unlike the previous boring Venitian hotel where we wouldn't have know which continent it was on). The Pasani is an actual old Palace (yes it's got plumbing and hot water!!) you can hear the waves from boats washing onto the building, see the Grand Canal out your window and have breakfast or just 'chill' in the most amazing old rooms.   If you are looking for somewhere with a bit of a caring, personal touch - this is the place to stay! The owner was really lovely to us - because it was our honeymoon, there was a bottle of prosecco in our room when we arrived!   Great B&B. Very clean and quiet. It's a 10 minutes walking from the train station, with the suitcases. There are 2 bridges in between, the big one right out the train station and a little one after so you may suffer a little with your luggage, but thats normal in Venice. Go straight on the street in front of the stairs and take the 2nd left (its the l - It is near the St Lucia train station and the attractions on the islands. It is about 15 minutes walk to Rialto market. We stayed 3 nights and went round almost the whole Venice by foot.
