O que as pessoas dizem
The location serves the highest point for this hostel as it is locates
very close to the St Lucia station, and it is just a few steps from a
vappretto/water bus station.
The man who is in charge to run the hostel is also nice to the guests. He is helpful and willing to give information of things we need, related to oir trip. He serves bread with jam and butter, yogurt, milk and juice for breakfast which are enough for a decent meal. todos opiniões »
The staff made my stay in Venice..was like a home from home for me. Sam and Emy were so lovely and helpful and always recommended the best places to go, never went needing anything during my stay. Close to the train station and waterbus stop is right outside. Bed was comfy and everything clean, handy having a kitchen especially when on a budget. Met some amazing people...loved it, didn't wanna leave - I'll be back (: x.
I stayed at L'imbarcadero, and I recommend because location is next to the vaporetto station, the easiest way for transport in Venice, plus Sam the manager knows how to get absolutely everywhere, he explained me which line I should take, he also promptly reply any concern via email if you need to know something before your arrival!! Thank you very much Sam for all your help!.
Friendly Staff!! The feeling of staying there is like a home stay instead of a hostel. Just 8 min walking time from Venice railway station and 3 min walking time from water bus station, very convenient! Provide chain and lock free of charge during check in.
Cleanliness level is satisfy.
Bathroom condition is satisfy too, water heater work well!.
The staff (person at the reception - Sam) was really friendly and understanding - I arrived very late at night, but I was let in regularly.
Room was clean and spacious, breakfast was good and diverse, coffee fresh and tasty :)
Location is really good, near train station (like 7 mins walk), easily reachable even with heavy suitcases.
Everything. It was clean, friendly, good breakfast, cosy beds, great locker system. Definitely highly recommend. The staff were very easy to get along with and made everything feel like you were at home.
Also a great location from the station and a quiet comfortable distance from the main attractions. Min. Beautiful 10min walk.
Good value for money
Great location, close to main station. Vaporetto and Gondola stop also near by.
Affordable places to eat close by.
Great cafe right in front.
Lovely building and the flat had loads of space.
Dont expect the ritz but great for short trip and if your going to be out and about.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Newcomers are easy to get lost
in Venice but there is no problem for L'Imbarcadero because it is
very closed to the train station (Venezia St. Lucia) and easy to find.
Eventhough my room is a mixed dorm but it is well decorated and comes
with canal view.
The hostel's location is very convenient, close to the main train
station, so you can find it almost immediately after arrival. The
friendly staff is ready to help. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds and a
beautiful design of room. Cleanliness and comfort. Very nice view of the
Grand Canal.
The staff was very friendly and like your old friends. And the hotel is
like your home with kitchen and so on. Location is near to train station
and river bus station is convenient. And even without detailed city map
it was quite easy to find the hotel.
I read really bad reviews, so i was positively surprised :D The staff (Sam) was nice, room was big and clean, location was good, breakfast was good, everything was good :) and it was nice that you could leave your luggage there after check-out.
Helpful & Friendly atmosphere with lot of cultural exchanges. My apprehensions being a girl travelling on her own was immediately relieved within minutes of talking to folks at L'Imbarcadero; they were so helpful & kind.
it was very easy to find and close to the train station.they dont give a map.but the guy in the reception was very kind and friendly.the breakfast was uite enough and it was looks more like a big house than a hostel.
Sam was great - very helpful! 24Hour reception, luggage storage before
and after stay. Good wifi, only place I stayed in Italy with a breakfast
provided (albeit basic - did the job). Great duvets and very comfy bed.
Affordable, great location for shopping and transport, helpful staff and a very nice guy who works there and his name is Sam. It is very clean especially the toilet and beds. Wonderful breakfast.
/Renée and Lorena.
This is the best deal we have ever gotten for living in a Venetian palazzo on a budget. We especially appreciated receptionist Mehra Manesh ("Sam") and his walking us home when we lost our way late at night.
- Very near the train and waterbus station.
- The staff including Sam and the lady who prepares breakfast are nice.
- Great view from the window
- Good value of money since Venice is super expensive.
The place is small, cute and warm just like home.Sam,the guy who runs the place, was very friendly and communicative. It's near to S.L. station and it takes just 4-5 min walk. The location is perfect.
Kitchen is useful and has everything. Room & bathroom are very very
big & clean. Because wifi is only available in public area, it is
easy and pleasant to make friends from many countries.
Excellent apartments in Venice. We lived in 887. Very picturesque view on channel. Very clean, comfortable. It made nice first impression on Venice. Sam was very helpful and gentle. Thank You!.
I liked the Stuff!!! I got a facebook contact of them, but I lost it, so
I could not find them after I left Venice. Megan, please write me back
E-mail! I'd be happy to see again.
It was great. We stayed in a different place to the hostel, which I really enjoyed as it was just us in the house. The view was gorgeous and there was so much space.
the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hostel was so close to the train station! and it had great facilities and was very clean! thank u so much!.
This was a hostel. Large living space with shared kitchen and private bath & bedroom. Very comfortable bed, very clean place and friendly, helpful staff.
Nice location and good price. The bed is clean as well. I want to thank Sam for the most part, he's quite friendly and helpful, who made me felt at home.
Good location only a short walk from the train station. Staff were nice. Facilities were pretty good. Sheets were clean. Provided a locker and padlock.
Everything was quite good, but I especially liked and appreciated the help of Sam, which was running the place.,couldn't have been the same with him!.
Sam was awesome. He is very friendly and really went out of his way to make people feel welcome and comfortable in Venice. Extremely helpful.
Location is great, 5 minutes walk from the station, near the vaporetto stop.
The rooms are very clean and cozy.
The staff is very friendly.
Rooms were spacious, clean and had no problems with bed bugs. Large windows meant fresh, cool air. Slept really well despite the hot days!.
location close to train station
able to leave bags on final day after check out
good wifi
view out of bedroom window over Grand CAnal.
Great hostel, very clean and the rooms are comfortable. It's an easy walk from the station, plus Sam was friendly and very helpful.
I like the 24 hours receptionist's (Sam) behavior, that was so friendly. The place was completely comfortable and so nice designed.
Great location (at a walking distance from the station). There is a fantastic view of the river when you walk in/out of the hotel.
Sam has been really angel. When you asked him something he helped out with everything. He and Vanessa pimped my stay in Venice !.
Sam who runs the hostel was exceptional. He was kind and professional and very very helpful! Great location and cozy.
Awesome location: once you find it it's easy to find your way back, kitchen, Sam being helpful, excellent value.
When we arrive, there was terrible rain, and guy from staff gave me an umbrella and that saved me life :D.
Excellent located. Todo el mundo is meeting here. Friendly staff, specialy Sam. Good equipped kitchen.
staff sam really amazing!help me in everything..its just in front of 2 point of the water bus!perfect.
This hostel locates near Santa Lucia Station and the owner sam is a very nice guy!.
very nice the guy is friendly and we can cook together like a warm home.
- location
- staff (friendly)
- Clean room
- breakfast
- good to rest.
Really friendly and helpful staffs. The room is clean.
The personal was very friendly and the food fresh.
Great location. Big room and bathroom.
staff sam is a nice and helpful person.
it is convenient and not expensive.
Nice location and friendly staff.
Very clean and good location.
I dont have anything to say, since I just use the hostel for resting
and bathing. Surely I spend all the day outside the hostel,
exploring Venice.
Limited large locker, but its ok as i dont put important thing in my backpack.
Limited wall plug each room. require multiplug in order to share among other roommate.
It seems like one shall ask for towels separately - I didn't find enough in a common bathroom.
The bathroom could be cleaner and more towels provided.
There are only 2 bathrooms. I had no problem with the queue during my
stay because there are only 6-8 people in the hostel. However, it would
be a problem if the reservation are full.
The only thing that I didn't like is the fact that I was sleeping
next to the window at night and someone opened this window and there is
just awful smell. But this is not a problem of the hostel, it is the
problem of the Grand Canal).
It was freezing at night (naturally, cos it's an old building) so remember to take four sweaters with you :D.
Idea of only two shared showers - but this never was a problem.
Venice is truly a labyrinth at night.
- The bed and mattress are very light weight so it feels a little bit "floating", but well, we are in Venice then...
Wifi connection is poor, and it is only available in public area.
A little out of the way to get to from the train station. Otherwise ok.
Nothing.
Pretty decent budget accommodation, but didn't blow me away. Staff come and go as they please - another guest had to wait around for a long time for staff to return to hostel so he could check in.
weak wi-fi
not enough electrical sockets in the room
Breakfast can be given early. 8:30 - too late for Venezia.
Breakast was so-so. People who ate earlier did not clear up so table was in a mess - but that's only a tiny detail.
difficult to say.... quality of yogurt at breakfast but that is being really picky!.
The cleaning lady came in while I was there and started immediately fighting with the manager, Sam. It was completely aggressive and uncomfortable. Seemed very inappropriate. Sam handled it well but I felt bad. Not a good environment to be in. She needs to go.
Lockers were quite bad.
nothing.
Everything was good.
Mosquitos in the kitchen. The shower water didn't go done well.
The door of my room did't has lock.
No bath towels were provided. No air conditioning. Only one fan for a 4 bed room.
Pricy.
The bed and door are really crunchy!!!.
