It is a very young modern Hotel. - The stuff is just great, super-proffesional! Hotel is quite new, rooms are well-designed, good-furnished and really nice, as well as hotel itself. Breakfast is great, but quite expencive. Location is not in "touristic" place, so you can find a lot of cafe, bars and shopes with usual prices.

M just back from a trip to Italy and had stayed 3 nights at Casa Santa
Sofia. Biggest advantage and my reason for selecting this place was the
location. Its at a walking distance from Metro station Cavour, which is
the first stop after Termini on Blue line. So its very convenient to
reach the hotel from Airport. A bus from Airport to termini and a Metro
from Termini to Cavour and a small walk! All under 1.5 hours.

Positives: Casa Santa Sophia is a delight!
Joined to the convent, it is run by the Catechist Sisters of St Anne (there's mass every morning at 06:50, if you fancy joining them).
Simply furnished, this is a very basic hotel, and not one for a "romantic weekend" perhaps, but a perfect crash-pad for friends having a break in Rome.
I loved it - clean, quiet, spacious, friendly.

The room and private bathroom was large and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, close to the metro yet walking distance to San Giovanni in Laterano. The
Italian breakfast consisted of plenty of croissants, espresso, toast, juice and cereal. It was an ideal place to stay while in Rome and a wonderfully quiet refuge when we needed a rest from exploring the city.

Hotel Clarisse is lovely. Simple rooms but clean and comfortable.
However it's the staff that make it a great hotel. They go out of
their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you

The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.

Was our first time in Rome and Townhouse Spagna's location was perfect for sight seeing. We found it a perfect base to just stroll the streets and find all the various monuments at each corner.
Townhouse Spagna is located near the Spanish Steps and is a trendy part of town where all the nice boutiques are. Great city living.

Town House Spagna is conveniently located in an alley right by the
Spanish Steps. As soon as I made a last minute booking for same day
check in, they called me to make sure I was okay to find the place and
provided directions. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a bigger
room free of charge which is always a nice surprise. Town House Spagna
is a very cute boutique style hotel and has very pretty furnishings. We
had a short stay but it was a pleasant one.

Just as others were, we were collected from the airport by Mariachiara,
at a very reasonable price and quickly installed in a very comfortable
room. Location was perfect, the room clean and the breakfast staff
extremely pleasant and helpful. When it was noticed that we'd
brought in our own fruit for breakfast, a bowl of fruit was provided the
following morning. That sort of attention is very much appreciated.

1. Hotel check in is since 14:00. However, personnel agreed to meet us and perform check in at 10:00 so we were able to spend more time in Rome. This is really fantastic, and this is why I would recommend this hotel to everybody.

Actually surprised to have access to a microwave in a small but reasonably sized kitchen and basic utensils , we were on a tight budget so that was great. !!!
Its no frills accommodation but its ideal for someone who wants to see Rome on a tight budget.
