  This hotel was top class & great value for money via this website as we got 4 x nights in superior room with breakfast for £400! A minor quibble: no waste paper basket(s) in the big gorgeous beamed room--a free upgrade from that requested. Unique design of room #401 (with stairs up and down to bathroom which was a shower only(but beautifully equipped) made... o que as pessoas dizem » it a little awkward to navigate. There should be a house phone in the bathroom since you'll never make it from the shower. - Lovely, in a nice quiet location.Had top floor room with a lovely view over rooftops. The bathroom was a bit small but very clean. The walk to the main areas of the city was about 10-15mins and very pleasant. From the hotel it is only a 4 minute walk to the Fondamente Nuova to get boats to Murano and Burrano. 3 mins from a main shopping area with cafe's etc.Staff were excellent.

  We loved staying in this gracious palazzo. Very friendly staff who treated us like family. nothing was too much trouble. I also liked the location, away from the main tourist area but only 5 minutes walk away. The garden is also wonderful and we eat breakfast out in the sunshine each day. The staff and management treated us like family friends rather than paying guests and it was one of the friendliest hotels I have stayed. Nothing was too much trouble and there were many little extras provided free of charge, which only added to the pleasure. The room was wonderful, full of atmosphere and beautifully appointed. I would recommend the hotel to any of my friends without hesitation.

  The room (room 106 on first floor), was big and light with two big windows overlooking the canal, one of which opened out onto a small balcony.The bed was two beds pushed together and may be a bit firm for some people. The en-suite bathroom was a good size and had WC, bidet, large sink, jacuzzi bath (normal size) plus tiled - This hotel was absolutely stunning! We had the junior suite with a canal view and it was amazing! The room was beautifully decorated! This hotel room, experience and location was the highlight of our trip! I highly recommend it! Even though the junior suite is a bit more money than the regular rooms, if you are wanting to treat yourself while in Italy for a couple days, I would definitely spend the extra money on this room!!   The location is brilliant. Very near to everything, but in an area where we felt we weren't being ripped-off....just a few steps away from more residential areas and the "real" Venice. A 10 minute stroll through gorgeous little streets and you're at the Rialto Bridge, or get the ferry gondola 2 steps away from the hotel and cross to the market. We were in the Pesaro Suite - which was utterly sensational! Massive room, balcony overlooking canal, enormous very comfortable bed, large bathroom with spa bath and breakfast included! Was by far our favourite hotel of our European holiday! Definitely recommend and would go back in an instant! Very easy to get to - if you arrive in Vencie via Train, catch the #1 Water Taxi, and get off about 4 stops down at D'Caro - if you fly in, the taxi will take you to the waterway, catch the #1
