  Hotel Ercoli is a very clean and friendly place. The room is really small (we had standard double) so it suits for those who are looking for a good bed in the end of a long day spent in beautiful Rome. There is a very good breakfast (fresh bread, cheese, ham, eggs, jams, cakes, yogurts, etc.). Its about a 10 minute walk from the Roma Termini (which feels long with luggage) but very conveniently located with good bus connections to the entire city. Looking at the hotel building from outside, and going up an ancient elevator, we were a little apprehensive of our choice. But the moment Thomas let us into the hotel, it was a revelation. She was so friendly and helpful to explain everything about the facilities and different places to visit. Also she informed ask about bus services and times.
