  I liked the fact that it was close to the subway station termini, and from there you could take any transport and reach any place of Rome, I liked Mrs. Aurora currently managing the hostel, which was very nice with us and gave us valuable guidance and a map about where the food is good and how to get to places visited on foot or by metro. I recommend from my heart! - First of all,the friendly lady called Aurora, that took care of everything in this B&B,was very kind and extra-helpful.She answered nearly every question we had about the city and gave us anything we asked for concerning the room. As for our room, it was very spacious and nicely decorated and it had a large bathroom with shower. It was certainly clean. The breakfast was adequate and enriched with freshly-made croissants by Mrs Aurora!

It is just a bit away from the hectic touristy spots in Rome. The area was quiet.We only took public transit when we went to the Vatican we walked everywhere. On our last evening we ate at the restaurant next door Osteria Boncompagni - really great food. The only other people in the restaurant were Italians. The meal was the best - The Location was excellent for getting to the heart of Rome and a short walk to the rail station or bus system, or taxis. There were things to see and do as well as affordable eating places nearby. The breakfast was wonderful compared to what other hotels offered for breakfast. But the hotel staff was simply outstanding. I would definitely look forward to staying there the next time I visit Rome.

  Rome is expensive & as we were only there for 2 nights this seemed like a good value option. Location was good with bus & metro routes nearby but we walked everywhere. Paolo texted, emailed and called to ensure he would be there on our arrival even though I had said we would be there for around 6pm and we didn't arrive til 8.20 (we travell... o que as pessoas dizem » ed from Garda). He was very helpful and good humoured. We had the larger room (in the photo) myself, husband, 2 kids (9 & 6). Comfortable, aircon, - Kevin who greeted us was super friendly and helpfull. Met Paolo too, the owner who was nice. Cadorna is like a home away from home with accessible kitchen 24 hours with a well stocked pantry. There was yoghurt, milk, juice, bread, coffee machine, cereals, biscuits and fresh brioche in the morning. As i was travelling with my 10 month old son we could use the kitchen facilities anytime to prepare his food. The wifi was super fast and uninterrupted during my stay which is a plus point.   Hotel Ercoli is a very clean and friendly place. The room is really small (we had standard double) so it suits for those who are looking for a good bed in the end of a long day spent in beautiful Rome. There is a very good breakfast (fresh bread, cheese, ham, eggs, jams, cakes, yogurts, etc.).   The location was set between St Peters Square and Castle Sant' Angelo 5min walk to either. The staff were very helpful and friendly they keep the hotel in perfect condition(very clean). It was only 1 month old at the time of our stay so it is new. The room was plenty spacious - Me and my wife, we had a wonderful weekend in Rome in November. This accommodation was an excellent surprise. We were afraid because the price was not that high and we heard so many stories about wrong information in the internet. We had a warm reception from Gabriela and her support was excellent.
