The staff were so helpful as we were lost and they actually went out
looking for part of our party. Amazing people in this town. We went to
dinner late at night at a little restaurant down the road and found the
staff there to be so open and engaging. We met the owner, a lovely young
woman, and her staff and had a long visit about Italy, America,
politics, etc. The food was fantastic...great pizza! Locanda BelSole was
quaint and a bright spot on our vacation.

Hotel is a beautiful building, outside built with natural stones. We had a terrace in our room. It was great to wake up when birds were singing outside. There is no aircondition in the room so we kept windows and door open all the night.

What a find - a real gem! The receptionist (David?) was so welcoming and friendly. It's great to be greeted so nicely after a very, very long drive. The kids were straight into the outdoor pool to unwind.
The staff in the restaurant were also lovely, cheerful and obliging.
We really felt like our Italian holiday had begun when we arrived here and were sorry that it was only a one night stopover (on our way to Elba) as we would love to have stayed for longer!

Edda and Ubaldo are among the warmest people we have ever met. They were
immensely helpful and kind in all respects. They went out of their way
to provide guidance to us in our visit to the Cinque Terre.
In addition, their breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.
La Meridiana is immaculate and a tranquil respite from the congestion of the Cinque Terre.

Excellent location for visiting Le Cinque Terre if you drive a car. The place is just off la autostrada. Should drive to La Spezia, park in a garage at railway station, and visit villages by train. In Brugnato, quiet, relaxing atmosphere, birds singing. Rosanna is such a nice host, and breakfast is exceptional, homemade and abundant.
