  As everyone before me has commented, this is a very special little gem of a resort hotel just outside of Ubud. We stayed in the south the week before and the staff was lovely, but the service provided at Samaya Ubud had unequalled heart and authenticity, I literally cried when I had to say goodbye to the managers, waitresses, and other staff membe... o que as pessoas dizem » rs. Samaya Ubud is not the 5 star property! you have to call it 5++. compare to other 5 star properties that I've stayed in my life, Samaya was the best and for sure we will go back. highly recommended. thanks to all Samaya's team to make our stay so special

  This hotel was well located by car, but a good 45 minute walk into the centre of Ubud. While they do offer a complimentary shuttle car, I would recommend the walk if you want to meet locals, see local shops and houses and get a better feel for the place.The grounds are spacious with beautiful rice paddies surrounding the property. The staff greet you by name and I liked the fact that the manager took the time to meet me and say good bye - We loved everything. The service was amazing and you never wanted for anything. You couldn't put your finger on what exactly was the magic at this hotel, but that's the exact point. You didnt' want for anything, nor did you have to ask for anything. True Bliss.

This was easily the best resort I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed at many many 5 star resorts!) and the biggest reason for that has to be the ever-smiling and hyper-efficient staff.   Komaneka at Bisma is located in an incredible setting overlooking rice paddies and the pool. The suites are large and have a great balcony. The staff are exceptional. They made us feel like family and we enjoyed them as much as the hotel! We had a one year old with us and they often watched him while we finished our meal. We felt very comforta... o que as pessoas dizem » ble having staff babysit for our one year old because he got to know everyone so well while we were there. They also connected us with a driver /guid - Lovely setting, just a short distance from central Ubud. Beautiful rooms, with a large terrace complete with sun loungers from where you can enjoy the lovely views of palm trees and some paddy fields, and the infinity pool. Liked the touches like the bedtime reading stories which were placed bedside at the turn down service. The breakfast was a veritable feast every day with lots of choice. Make sure you sample the snacks at tea time, too. A delightful place to base yourself in Ubud.

  It was our first time to Bali and we read so much about how Ubud was the "True bali" and wanted to stay somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Seminyak beach to start off our holiday.   My three sisters and I love the villa, its staff and surrounding areas. We have all that we need (geckos, roosters and birds included) for a great stay. A new villa is being built next door but there is little noise to disrupt our quiet vacation.
