New Delhi was our first stop in India and we chose Soi Boutique Hotel for the excellent price and good reviews on letsbookhotel.com. I can easily say that I felt at home at Soi.
1) Location: The location is fantastic. It's in an elegant and quiet neighborhood, very close to all major Old Delhi attractions. The furthest part of the city are 20 min away by taxi. The owner, Aditya, was extremely helpful - he suggested places to go around town, helped us book a day trip to the Taj Mahal, and arranged rides to and from the airport.
There were free mangoes and bottled water in the communal fridge.
The A/C in our room proved crucial for surviving the Delhi summer heat.
Defence Colony is apparently one of the safer neighborhoods in Delhi. We didn't run into any trouble while we were there. The place is gated and guarded. There is a nice park nearby.
Great service, friendly and helpful owners, always looking well after their guests, making everything possible for them and anticipating their needs.
A very short trip for me, but I was able to see so much in the city and get well rested over night as their beds are very comfortable. The restaurants nearby offer good options in case you decide to dine out...

The place is clean and welcoming. It feels like a home. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. He'll chat with you and do whatever he can to make your stay a pleasant one. The place is walking distance to the metro, which is incredibly convenient, and it's in a nice area where you can walk around even at night and still feel safe. Would definitely stay here again.
SOI hotel is very convenient located within Defence Colony and Aditya, the owner of the hotel, let you feel that you are never alone. In walking distance there is the charming Defence Colony market as well as the busy Lajpat Nagar market. In walking distance you find metro and some parks, too. Also fine for running a little bit within the colony.
Soi B&B is in a good location for going around in New Delhi. A quiet and comfortable place. Good size of room with modern facilities, good breakfast, tea-coffee making. Aditya and his family always pay attention and make sure the stay is comfortable. Staff are very helpful and polite. Feel good to come back.
Its a home away from home. Felt the comfort of home. The owner is very much involved with the guests and tries to take good care of his guest. The best value for money. Great location. Has everything that you can ask from a big hotel yet the warmth of a home is present there.

A homely atmosphere, a central location and a quietness not common in noisy Delhi.
This is not a boutique hotel, it is a guest house. Eating (breakfast) is communal, you have to turn the geyser on half an hour before you need hot water, there is no restaurant or bar. It is a nice guest house, and would probably be great if you are on holiday, but if you are in Delhi for business you might prefer something a little less intimate with more facilities.

Nothing. We were looking for a quality place to stay and plan the visit to Delhi, and Soi Boutique Hotel was the perfect place to do so. This is not a big chain hotel with amenities such as Gym, Spa, Pool, etc. and this is not a low-quality guest house or hostel. This is a small boutique hotel that is very well run and was more than enough for the purpose of the visit.
Wifi is provided free of charge but services are not stable.
