A kitchenette with a dining area and cooking hobs is included in some of the units. Babis Hotel is located in a peaceful area on top of a hill. A line of steps quickly takes you down to the town's many restaurants, shops and bars. The port of Skiathos is 200 metres away and Megali Ammos Beach is at 1 km. Car and motorbike hire are available and there is free public parking nearby.

The owners were waiting for us with a car at the airport. Hotel was clean, nice, with full equippment. Based in the city center near the bus stop. Quiet at night, but near to the night life. The room was lovely , fully sufficient , without sea view , but the house has the roof terrace with a beautiful view, where we ate breakfast every day . Maid cleaned up every day, maybe It wasn´t neccessary so often. The towels are changed every second day. Owners are very nice , more friends than owners, e.

We were picked up at the airport, dropped off at the ferry, and even offered that we can store our luggage and get a ride to the airport when we were coming back through Skiathos Town couple of days later. Gorgeous view from the balcony, nice and clean hotel with an excellent location. Yes, there's a steep hike up to the hotel (which is why there's excellent views from the balcony), but there is also a longer, ba. I liked that nothing was too much trouble for them. From picking me up at the airport to taking me to the ferryport to the great hospitality. The hotel is v clean and so central to all amenities and with amazing views. And all done with such warmth and generosity!! I chose this hotel in the first place because they offer pick-ups (which is a huge boon if you are travelling alone) but I received so much more. They think of everything - from the pleasant decor to the miniature shampoos to the fol. Friendly owners, who couldn't do enough and even gave a lift to myself and other guests to the airport and I only stayed 1 night. Nice room with tea and coffee available. The loveliest turquoise fluffy towels, not like the other rough ones in other places I'd stayed. There was a great roof terrace where you could sit and see a full view of the marina below and the rest of Skiathos. It's in a nice quiet location, although the sound from the clubs at the other end of the port could sometimes . we stayed in room number 13 a roof top studio .The roof top terrace has amazing views of the harbour ,perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and people watching .Babis and Yoti the owners are very friendly nothing is too much trouble they even offer free transfers from the airport. The studio is well equipped it has everything you need and is cleaned everyday with clean towels supplied daily as well. Close to town center but far from noise, located high up on the hill which dominate the harbor and the wonderful Pounda's bay. Great view from the bright and sunny balcony, where you can take your self catering breakfast. Spacious room, with small but well equipped cooking corner, everyday cleaning, linens changing every two days. Confortable bathroom with shower perfectly working. This is the first time we have stayed in Skiathos Town and we found Hotel Babis excellent. Yota and Babis the owners are so friendly and helpful. We had a pick up from the airport and also a drop-off. The rooms are clean and we found our stay very reasonably priced. The view is breathtaking and we will definately return. Everything, specially the warm and friendly owner, Yiota. She did her best to make comfortable our stay, even she picked us up at the airport (and we were only for one night, in transit to another destination). Nice and clean bedroom, beautiful view over the bay, comfortable bed, lovely terrace. Our room was smallish but clean, newly decorated, well equipped and everything worked. We had complimentary water and beer in the room. The hotel emailed me to arrange pick up at the ferry and then dropped us off at the airport the following day. Yota and Babis could not have been more helpful particularly with luggage and transport between Port, Pension and Airport. They did the airport transfer & offered us free drinks on arrival & during the week. The appartements must be the cleanest in Greece as we had clean towels & maid service every day. Preferred this to the designer boutique hotel we also stayed in at koukounaries beach at twice the price. We stayed in room 11 and the view from our room was absolutely amazing! The location was very good, 2 minutes walk to the marina, the local bus service and the centre of the town, 15 minute walk to the nearest beach. Yota and Babis the owners were fantastic. They picked us up and took us to the airport and nothing was too much trouble for them. Spotlessly clean, very nicely decorated and right in the centre of the town. it was a very friendly hotel in the heart of the main city. the owners were very helpful and kind particularly for a solo traveller. they went out of their way to be helpful and make my stay a pleasure. A very friendly couple run it, and Babis provided transport to the airport. Very clean, comfortable with great views from the room and the roof terrace. I would certainly use it again. Babis and Yiota were really kind, and they help my cousine and me in every think we needed. I agree with Pietro of Rome, and we also recommend it! Maria Elena and Marilù. Absolutely spotless, Babis and Yiota could not do enough for me, Babis even picked me up from airport and drove me there for return flight. Very friendly. Lovely staff, location and rooms. Good value for money. Sitting on the balcony watching the boats and the (very few) planes landing was so relaxing. The owners were really friendly, nice and taking care of our needs. Everything!. nice and friendly, nice rooms clean and very good furneshed. nice hotel , nice forniture , nice and friendly oweners. We knew about the annoying stairs , but they were really scary. No ordinary, but the high , steep and slippery. But even so the hotel is excellent . Nothing I can think of. beware of the mosquitos! but this is not a problem of the hotel, but the whole island coast. :). The hotel is up a hill and this was a challenge to me as I don,t walk we'll. My wife who is also in her sixties managed easily enough. Ice compartment in fridge needed defrosting, and an ice cube container would have been useful. Unfortunately due to the shape of the building our neighbours were very close to us on the balcony and they didn't like to say hello. :(. Nothing it was all great. nothing. Nothing to dislike. No breakfast, but there are plenty of friendly cafes close by. Stairs or walk back up the hill was a killer in the day heat. If I really have to point out something not really comfortable (but it wasn't a problem at all) it is the stipy way to reach Babis on walking since no parking area there around...good for fitness! :-). Rooms a bit small but we knew this before we booked. Nothing. Hot water was not working and the air conditioner also not working well. Nothing. Nothing. the room at the ground flor with no view. if you book a room with no view be sure that you don't get room n. 6 ( the one i had for 7 days ) is a room at the first floor with a wall in front . seemed to be in a ditch-. suitable only to sleep for one nignt not for 7.
