very friendly staff, very helpful and also spoke excellent English. Hotel was comfortable, clean and the family room was very big and well laid out with plenty of space. It's about 10 mins walk to the centre of St Goar along the Rhine. Spectacular views along the way. Easy to find.

Location, room, bed, breakfast... everything. Friendly Gil was so helpful, he sits down with us and gave all the information we need to fill our day and more. We followed his suggestion and were very satisfied with the walk in the woods and wine with light meal at one of the Mills. Getting off the KD Reine Cruise, the hotel is right in front of you. First I must say that the lady owner is an exceptional person and entrepreneurs. I cut my finger at breakfast on our last day and she leaped into action cleaning the wound and bandaging it. This Hotel is comfortable and very welcoming, the owners are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was cosy and relaxing.
The evening menu was small but very good quality, the sandwich's we were presented with were very large and very tasty. A lovely place to stay for a few nights, it's quiet were it is situated provides easy access to nearby towns, a very enjoyable stay. The wine was good too.
