This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area. Owner Marc was very helpfull. We arrived early in the morning, at 8:00AM, but Mark helped us and provided luggage room without checking. Even on the Easter eve, Mark made time and helped us with connecting to internet, also explained about nearby station

We cannot recommend these apartments enough! Great location, great facilities and great staff! The apartment was really spacious and ideally located near two metro stations on the main line running through the city. The apartments manager Marc was really helpful and friendly and actually recomended a Vietnamese restaurant right by the apartment where we had one of the best meals of the trip! If we visit Berlin again we will definitely try to stay in Apartments City-Room Berlin next time.

Friendly and helpful staff, very quiet location, which came as a surprise, given the busy street address (but it is in the 2nd backyard - no noise ets through to there).
Good and diverse breakfast. All in all highly recommended for the no-frills budget traveller.

The appartment is a real IKEA appartment, clean and proper. Also we liked the neighborhood and the price was great. - The room was wonderful. It was clean, spacious, and I was able to sleep really well there. It was nice having a common kitchen because it allowed us to save money by making a few meals at home. Also, the manager of the apartment was very kind and helpful.

Being a hostel as well as a hotel, this hotel is more suited to groups and young couples, although people of all ages were staying there. The price was excellent for the quality of the rooms. The apartment was very nice, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed, although a small microwave oven would have been nice. Also, the manager checked us in late in the evening, and he was very friendly and helpful about how to get around Berlin to see the sites. - Good organised. Good place for a cheap stay.
