Rather than pay for two hotel rooms, an a apartment with two rooms was excellent. Only 10 - 15 mins from Paderborn. Well appointed apartment with comfortable beds and a good kitchen and sitting room. The beds were comfortable and the apartment didn't have any features that were not kid friendly like sharp cornered tables, lots of trinkets etc..
