The owner was very friendly. The rooms actually bigger than it looks in the web photo and very cosy. The kitchen is complete therefore easier to prepare meals for the family. The surrounding area is very beautiful too. -

150% friendly staff, nice large room, superb breakfast with breathtaking
views, convinient parking. We all slept like babies for 12 hours in
absolutely quiet room:-) Ellenz is tiny town, just a short ferry ride
across the river - nice little Beilshtein with its streets and castle
where we enjoyed views and a tasty meal.

The gasthof is great and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are great (real German) and even for a single biker this place is excellent. night with our Aunt. The facilities are quaint but clean and
comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. It was a high point in our trip.

We told the owner Sabine we will come back one day and yes, we will! The region is an absolute delight. The hotel is top notch. Comfort, cleanliness, convenience and hearty breakfast with homemade jam and fruit medley made an wonderful stay. The family owned Zehnthauskeller took wine tasting to another level. Sitting in the 400 year old wine cellar sipping local wine was the best way to wrap up a day of sightseeing.

This place, and the people running it, are excellent. It is a very short drive from Cochem, right on the river, we had a lovely, large room overlooking the river. Friendly welcome by Barbara, very clean and comfortable accommodation. Situated close to many local attractions along the river mosel; including excellent cycling tracks and a lovely outdoor swimming pool (5 minutes walk). Although we did hire a car for the week we took advantage of a free local bus pass.
