  We arrived well before check-in with the intention of only dropping our bags until the advertised check-in time.. The guy on the front desk could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating.. Nicely located in East Berlin, it's minutes away from Alexanderplatz, underground and some of the most famous Berlin monuments. Nothing to complain about here. Staff is superb. There's no breakfast at the hotel - my best advice here is to go to Alex restaurant (located in the bottom of the TV Tower), you can get buffet breakfast for 7 euros every day from 9 to 12. We felt even more comfortable in Voltaire apartment than in the city itself.

  My wife and I recently stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon, and we could not have picked a better spot to stay. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment that was larger than the place we live in normally(Quite a feat when staying in Europe). The kitchen was fully stocked, and they even made sure we had detergent to use for the dishwash - Our appartment was right beside the train station but the sound levels were not bothersome at all when the windows were closed.   Nice folks clean room and marble bathroom,good food (but Hackeschermarkt platz a few feet away, full of indoor/sidewalk food places. Short walk to cathedral (Lutheran) with magnificent music for Sunday services and spectacular Vatican like interior. Trains, trolleys, water tour all in five minutes walk. A great find, will return. Oh, the actual fireoplace an - The hotel is located in the very center of the city, however the nearby streets are calm, so at night you can enjoy your rest. It takes just 2 min to reach the S-Bahn station, also you can find here a lot of restaurants and caffee. Every day I took my sandwich on my way to the conference without any time delay. Especially I enjoyed the hotel sitting-room with wonderful fireplace and library - it was awesome! I strongly recommend to stay in Monbijou hotel :)

Well located, between two different subway stations (different lines), 2-3 minutes walk. Alexander Platz is 7-10 minutes walk.
