  The staff were excellent. Especially the breakfasts were amazing. One should definitely try the home made jams. The location of the hotel is perfect. For us, although we had to travel everyday to Regensburg University, the location was very practical. In the last 14 years I have traveled mo - We booked this hotel to be close to Regensburg, but to be guaranteed safe parking and avoid pedestrian-only zones. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. The reception staff was very helpful and friendly. Regensburg is a ten-minute drive away. It is possible also to take a bus. Try the Kaiser Therme just up the hill. We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours in the warm, mineral waters.

  Going from Denmark to Hungary (it could also be Italy, Croatia, Austria etc) then Regensburg is a perfect stop for a rest and a sleep. The Landgasthof is 17 km from Regensburg in a quiet setting next to the golf court.
