Eventhough the exterior of the hotel doesn't look as nice, the rooms are very clean, nicely decorated with all updated amenities. The room is big and bathroom is spacious. The rate for this hotel is also very budget-friendly. Overall, we really enjoy our stay at hotel Italia. We will definately stay here again if we are in the area. -

Hotel is situated in a quite area on the opposite side of the river to the town. A short walk across the bridge and your are in the centre. The rooms were good and we had a ground floor room which opened onto a small area with outside seating which was great as it was hot. No air con but as it was quiet we could leave window open.

The room was spacious with TV and a large en-suite bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean.
The WiFi was good - not super fast but good enough to check emails / browse the web.
Breakfast was good with bread, yoghurt, compote, jams, honey and fresh coffee.
The onsite parking was a bonus and being able to park right outside your room was good.

Exceptionally quiet location with la Loire at the bottom of the lovely large garden. Would be great to stay with dogs (which are accepted). Only a few minutes drive from Orleans centre. Staff very helpful and good breakfast. No restaurant Sunday evening but help from staff on where to eat locally, or trip into Centre.

The hotel was in a wonderful location right in the centre of Blois but with easy parking nearby. When we booked, the proprietor sent a personal email welcoming us and this was typical of the whole style of the hotel which was friendly, cheerful and welcoming. The hotel is in an old, very characterful building said to have belonged originally to the Dukes of Guise, and the owners have kept a lot of character while making sure that it is comfortable and modern where it needs to be.
