The owner is a very nice and thoughtful manager. The place was clean, quiet, with good beds and good air conditioning and wifi that actually worked. The rooms were small, but very average sized for Paris. It was a few minutes walk from place d'italia, which is the metro stop that can get you anywhere. I would recommend staying here.

I stayed in 2 hotels in Paris, they all are 3 stars hotels and rank top 200 ones in TA. Compare of these two hotels, another one is with higher price, left bank, very close to Notre Dame and restaurants. But I will choose Le Relais Madelene next time.

prime location to go about the city for shopping (at the printemps and the lafayettes) and sight seeing (being only 2 blocks away from the metro station Madeleine). grocery store just a minute walk from the hotel. excellent staff, very helpful and friendly and having them there definitely makes me want to return to this boutique hotel on next visit.

The hotel was amazing old French style! Very nice! Small, but fit its purpouse! The best part of it thoug is its closeness to the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumph! It is walking distance from Boissiere Metro Station and the staff were very helpful letting us store our luggage in the hotel after check out and until night when we left to CDG. -
