The rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed rooms, and newly installed bathrooms. Proprietress Agnes was a gem of efficiency, great restaurant recommendations and local tales. The breakfast was in the chateau dining room and included homemade and local cheeses, jams, butters and various milks from the farm's dairy. L'Hermerel is - A relaxed countryside location, on a working dairy farm, the kids loved seeing the cows. The family were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. A perfect spot for exploring the historic beaches as well as many other things to do in the area. There were little thoughtful touches throughout the room which made a big difference. The breakfast was amazing with lots of local produce every morning.

  The location was excellent for exploring the Normandy area. We were very close to Utah Beach and Omaha Beach, which was the main reason for our visit. The facility was fantastic and one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. The area was quiet and very beautiful. Our room was clean and large. The owners were very hospitable and accomoda... o que as pessoas dizem » ting and made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fresh and made on the spot. I have a feeling every B&B we stay at from now on will - What a special place for Americans! The hostess and host (English fluent) were gracious, friendly, good humored, and very attentive to all our needs and quirks. It was wonderful to have a gourmet community kitchen to cook a little supper, and they brought a sumptuous breakfast to our own quarters. The room design has every convenience and comfort; with beautiful and impeccable taste. Plus a really, really darling couple. What could be better?
