You could tell the owner would gladly stay in any of the rooms. Elevator control made complete privacy possible. We had no way of know the Castle was full until we saw the cars in the parking lot. Amentities, food, service were all top quality. We will definitely be back. Great location, very comfortable, lovely bathroom and fantastic food. Staff were very friendly and we will definitely stay there again. A wonderful place to break your journey. A lovely chateau with some modern areas which have been sympathetically designed.

Pleasant setting. Country-like hidden in midst of an industrial area of town. Modern upgrade of 18th century home done very tastefully. Good food. Good service. The room, the bathroom, the decoration of the hotel, the gardens, the evening meal and the modern design inside the original shell of the castle. Ideal stopping point on journey south. The grounds could be better presented perhaps with benches to sit. Nothing. Nothing. Bit difficult to find on satnav. Quite far out of town. Restaurant unavailable night we stayed due to a function. Restaurant was closed, which was a shame. At this price, one would expect a glass in the bathroom, not a plastic cup. The TV remote didn't work, nor did the wi-fi. The electrics in the room were unfathomable. Directions on letsbookhotel.com are not accurate and it is difficult to find. Staff were not very attentive. Getting there through Limoges. Excessive cost of breakfast without provision of fresh fruit or charcuterie (cold meat). The restaurant was closed & the room service menu was extremely limited. No wi-if in the rooms. Expensive breakfast, bad coffee & lots of flies in the dining room. Way too expensive for what they had to offer. onlt one member of staff who looked bored no restaurant on Sunday and no other facilities. only one other guest. Very isolated.
