  A really good stop-over hotel on our way to Dordogne. Would fully recommend a stay here and also do have the evening meal - a must!! Not at all expensive - 4 courses, including wine and all beautifully prepared. We did have a slight difficulty with the translation of the menu, so the lovely lady owner got out her lap-top and did 'translate'. Fabulous continental breakfast with home made jams etc. Comfortable room with entrance separate from family house. Quiet location with parking. Opportunity to meet other guests.

  We found the accommodation extremely spacious, comfortable and beautifullly decorated. It was located right on the banks of the Seine, and out of our window we could see the ships go past. Plenty of good places to sit out in the orchard and garden. It was very relaxing indeed and even better than expected from the desciption. We'll definitely be coming back. . - Very 'french' experience. Madame doesn't speak any English, so be prepared to use a bit of french. I also emailed Madame before the visit to ensure she knew of our booking. The area is wonderful, alongside the Seine and among fields of fruit trees. They have chickens and also peacocks wandering the gardens. A most restful night - followed by a typical french breakfast. Very close to the abbey ruins of Jumieges.

  1. The landlady is wonderful! She is very helpful, even if you come to the hotel very late (when reception is closed and nobody is in the hotel), speak almost no French and want to check in. 2. The breakfast included in the price consists of everything you can find on the public kitchen (in our case there was tea and coffee, cocoa, milk, but... o que as pessoas dizem » ter, bread, nutella, honey and many different jams). 3. Great, cozy rooms with stylish design and some antique furniture, very beautiful common room. - Wonderful location opposite the Abbey. We were surprised and delighted to find a full-equipped kitchen and lots of supplies for breakfast, have not expected anything. The staff are very helpful.

  For me it was situated ideally within five minutes walk from the abbey which is the single attraction of the small community of Jumieges. Everything suited my taste there: the semi-detached room, the spaciousness of the room, the environments, the breakfast, the staff who were all very pleasant and eager to help. But I wouldn't recommned it to o... o que as pessoas dizem » ther tourists because I don't want to see the village packed with the visitors who are not the lovers of medieval abbey, or its ruin. - We went as a group of 16 adults. Each and every one of us really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful, very friendly and as we had 8 Ferrari in out group, really helped make sure our cars were safe and secure at night. The breakfast was good. None of us had a problem with the price of it. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as we were lucky enough to have great weather for the weekend ! All in all, cant fault it !
